@@Jose-se9pu well the reason he was wearing the red and blue during the knightmare timeline was because he succumbed to the anti-life equation right when he was about to take down darkseid for the death of lois so he wasn’t signifying the classic suit as “evil” he just happened to be controlled while wearing it. What i didn’t get about ZSJL was that he was wearing the black suit during the cyborg vision with singed Lois in his arms. that kinda broke the continuity for me.

This looks really great. As someone who was hoping for the blue suit, I have to admit that the black has grown on me. It looks amazing, and really makes me feel that Clark has gained something from his death and resurrection. In addition, the black suit has gained its own meaning among the fans of the DCEU, Snyderverse, or whatever we want to call it. The black suit is the visualization of the characters, artists, and fans triumphing over the corporate interference that came so close to defeating them. All of this said, the blue suit looks amazing here, and I definitely would have been pleased to see it in the movie.

Yeah, the black suit fits more with that scene where Superman fight Justice League and the military after his ressurection, if he had used the black suit without cape in that scene would had been so much more epic, and in the final battle against Steppenwolf he should have used the classic blue and red suit instead.

The black suit, you can say that in modern Krypton, when he left, everyone was wearing black suits. So it is sort of linked to, in some ways, the old world. I think is a more direct relationship to his family. In a lot of ways, the blue suit, represents his kind of place on Earth.
