The fact I’m coming back to this video after over a year of being posted shows how powerful this scene was. I give all props to Zack Snyder. Even with the silly style of running he made the scene so good that you overlooked the running. The creativity with each of his steps recreating the ground in which he steps on and also his lighting creating back the light poles on the street is just amazing. The flash movie was a complete joke. This on the other hand was an untapped potential we never got to witness as a solo movie. Well I’ll keep coming back to this video anytime I want to see a good representation of the flash

So the blast is suppose to make the earth into another planet similar to apocalypse. So why would this explosion kill superman and erase him like that. Not only is he fully recharged, he is normally, not stupid comic feats, able to withstand nuclear and planet exploding blasts. He might get damaged but not vaporize like this.

As much as this scene looks great. I can't help but scratch my head about how the boxes coming to a completion results in a complete world wipe out of the planet its on makes no sense in this story. Isn't the whole point of the big bad invading the planet is to conquer it. What is the point of conquering a planet, if everything on the planet is dead?

@@D_D_L Then why does it show in the future scenes we get with Batman perspective, that Darkseid did conquer their world. Turning it into a waste land, and turning most of the hero's into villains. You don't turn the people population against one another unless you have some grain to conquer their planet. If all Darkseid wanted was to find the universal equation, he could have done that covertly without the heroes knowing about it. However, he openly made his goals, and presence known, which is the sole reason we have this conflict happening.

@@D_D_L He made his presence known when he first came to earth, where the old gods faced him in battle. His goal was plain as day to the old gods for Dina exposition says as much. Three boxes meant to conquer earth, once their merges was completed they would covert the earth into fire and alikeness of the enemies world. My whole original issue with the scene was that once the boxes merged it completely looks like it wipes everything thing out of existence on earth, which completely negates any reason to conquer earth. There is no fire there is absolutely nothing standing in this scene.
