Zack Snyder's Watchmen was ahead of it's time

Said this just the other week to a friend when talking about how bad movies are now and how that a lot of movies that didn't do well 15 or 20 years ago are master pieces by today's standards. Watchmen was just good though, people weren't ready for it.
