@@BriggsMullen thing is that none of these grooves are too good for hip hop trap, so working with what he was given, he got as close to trap as he could and went wild with the rest. Given an actual trap groove he seems like he could absolutely go ham.

The 8 bit one was really unique almost like leading up to the boss fight them boom you're at the boss fight at the end. Personally my favorite was groovy grace won my heart with that trumpet. (All were really great btw)

Spinnin Records and Revealed Recordings are two of the most big labels of EDM music, they have been really important ones around the GOLDEN ERA of NEW EDM music (around 2010-2014). They still alive, but now they are more undercovered in EDM music.

The problem in those tracks is the sidechain. Producers can't properly apply sidechains to a single-layered full drum sample. They need to apply specific modifications to fit the sound. For example, when a kick hits the bass sound should lower in order to get impactful kicks. Shortly it is hard to do mastering with one-layered drum sample.

It would be great if you made a soundcloud for all the songs you put tout on youtube. I would love to download them. I know im a fud ;( Also longer form videos are nice every once in a while but shorter ~10min videos once or twice a week would great for viewer retention. I think the most important thing is to find the threshhold at which you can comfortably and consistently make content without going insane lmao. If you can make people fit your videos into they're routine; make them laugh or groove for a few minutes each week people will always make time for your goofy ass :D
