It must be such an emotional "goodbye" when she left Zahra at her new environment. I'm a guy.... and I doubt I could deal with that on a regular basis as part of my job. I am continuously fascinated by gorilla's and could watch these video's for hours on end. KZbin has given us all the opportunity to learn about Gorilla's as well as all natures beautiful animals.

Thank you so much, it was very emotional but we got through it because it was the best thing for Zahra.

I love gorilla's so much too, they are amazing and so fascinating. It's good that more people learn about them because we need to protect these wonderful apes.

You are such a brave and loving person. I felt it broke your heart, but you did what was the best for her. Oh God...I do not know if I would have been able to do the same. Be blessed. She fell right into her luck. And she came from one great Mom to be with the next. :)

Gosh! It has to be incredibly tough leaving “your” newborn baby with a whole new set of carers. Sounds like the baby is doing well. I wonder how her momma is doing?

Would liked to have seen a live recording of her with her new family. At least she has them, though ideally I’d prefer if we humans really loved them enough to give them up, let them live out their lives with the most minimal of human contact at a species specific regulated sanctuary in a temperature that is what they are meant to live in. I hope one day we give up needing to be near to, see, even touch captive wild animals. And protect them in the wild where they belong. I hope…

They never explained why she was taken from her real mother ???
@ratbones6203 жыл бұрын
Usually it’s because the mother doesn’t feed her well. More common in first time mothers.
@ccoop37743 жыл бұрын
I remember this episode on the show. The mother became sick, something serious like that. There was a reason for taking her.

How about building a transport vehicle out of a motor home? That way they could change out environment for each animal type.

That is beautiful... but, do you care about your fellow humans as much as you care for those animals (regardless how precious you perceive them to be)?
@katyalupochev95893 жыл бұрын
What a strange comment. Everyone has a passion, a corner they’re willing to fight in, lives they can help improve. Not everyone is destined to help humans. Some help animals, some help plants and trees, some help the deserts and some the oceans. Caring about animals doesn’t mean you care about humans less.
@bonniekenzie85453 жыл бұрын
@@katyalupochev9589 Well said Janet, some humans have big hearts and can care about all living creatures. 🙋♀️🦍🇬🇧

These animals are endangered, they are beautiful, amazing, sentient beings and they deserve this earth as much as we do, if not more because they are not causing any harm like we do, usually they prefer living peacefully in their family groups. If they died out it would be a huge loss for us and it would be because of us so the least we can do is try to help and protect them. So much money is wasted on totally unimportant or even horrible things so why not put a tiny peace of tgat to gorilla's. And ou can always put your money and time to help people or children who have it worse instead of telling others what they should do.
@teijaflink22263 жыл бұрын
Janet Snakehole And if you care for the animals and the earth that means that you care for humans too because you are trying to protect tge eart so there's something left for our children and so they can live from this earth. All tvese small things we do becomes bigger and bigger

The mom died and so did her dad of E Coli infections. Why else would they take her and give her to another gorilla family?
@juno63 жыл бұрын
Zoos are so depressing. Such wonderful creatures living in jail is absolutely cruel. They should be in sanctuaries, or reintroduced to the forest when possible, but they're victims of a lucrative business.
