Is Nae Nae is ill or in bad shape why doesn't the zoo do something about it this is called animal abuse when they just let her suffer and mean time they're collecting money from people coming in to see them it's called animal abuse this gorilla needs medical attention. Nae Nae has been a biatch all of her life there in the zoo with her family she has divided it she doesn't like her granddaughter but that doesn't mean that I like watching her suffer she is a living creation of God and she needs to be treated with medical help

This was so beautiful. I can't believe how cute Nene was as a baby or how much Ai resembles an adolescent Nene. That baby Ai looked so much like baby Annie. Thank you for this video it is truly special. While I'm hoping for the best in terms of Nene's recovery. If it is her time to slip away, I hope her heaven is in the wilds of Africa with her beloved Rikki. 💐💐

I KNEW that Ai was very likely to highly resemble her father, because AI’s features are so exotic and beautiful, so distinct from any other gorilla woman I’ve seen. L'inquiétude de Ai et la façon qu'elle a eu de poser sa main sur la vitre m'ont brisées le cœur. Peut-être que les soigneurs pourraient laisser Ai approcher Néné de temps en temps, ça leur ferait du bien au moral d'avoir un contact physique. SaG, THANK you for this backstory of Nene, Rikki, Oki & AI....I understand Her attitude better with Annie....to her it seems Annie was an outsider to the troop, given what she went through with Rikki, I think she was just enormously over-protective of Kiyo when he was young. Losing both Rikki and Oki during the raising of AI must have been a tremendous stressful time for her. Liken it to Momotaro not growing up without a silverback, AI lost her own father right after birth. This clears up a lot I wondered about their history. Nene, I hope you recover....but if you don't, please be at peace in your time back to Cameroon. Thank you again for this video!

Thamks for telling us Nene’s story. Nene & Ai was a single mum & girl . Yes, I agree which one’s Nene. In the first photo, is Kintaro’s little face, & in the second I see Ai in her face. How terrible for Nen terrible it must’ve been for Nene, losing Ricki when Ai was born. Grieving as single mum, losing or Ai’s father before he could teach her anything. But it looks like it was a fun life with Oki & Nene, free from having to obey males. Thanks for the story friend🙏🏽😁👋🏼

As someone who's been in pain since 2007 I hope the zoo's medical staff either keeps her doped up or end her suffering if her hip and leg cant be fixed. Mine is progressive no matter. Severe chronic pain if joy sapping, you just are being, nothing but a sack of at times severe 10 pain level mixed in with the constant 4-5. The more you do, the more severe pain comes, you become afraid to do anything to keep the pain level down, hence her sleeping in the open in the middle of the room, it hurts too much to move. Nene I hope they can fix you and keep you comfortable until a hard decision has to be made. Sometimes we keep those suffering around as humans hate to grieve for the few hard months and then comfortable memories we keep you suffering.

Great video about Nene! On and off I've been watching a lot of the gorilla troops out here on KZbin for well over five years now. I've been watching the Shabani group since Annie was a baby. And Nene is probably the most memorable female gorilla that I've seen out here. Maybe it's those arms. She must have some of the longest arms out of all gorillas, lol.

Thank you S.A.G’s thank you for your time and research of Nene🎉🎉 I can’t believe just how little my grumpy old ladybug Nene was 😅😅 She was absolutely adorable 🥰.. Nene is amazing and she’s in my daily prayers. Because if she had a stroke I know exactly what she’s going through I had a stroke then a heart attack after getting better my husband had a massive stroke and was in rehab for three months and still not doing bad but not great😢With a stroke IF it is a stroke there’s honestly no pain and sleep is the best thing ,, the way I understand it,,, when sleeping it’s your brains way to healing itself because there’s no activity going on around you and your brain can heal itself. It will take time lots of time, but can be held. Nene I’m sorry this happened to you get well very soon and show everyone just how strong you are 😊❤❤❤❤

There's a Channel called "Japanese Zoo" that has been giving daily updates/videos on the whole troupe and especially of Nene's progress. Luckily, it reported that today Nene is walking and has started eating. The others have also started eating more(as they often skipped meals, most likely due to worry over Nene). It is fascinating and heart warming to follow the family through Nene's illness. The good news, is that she is on the mend.

ネネさんは、小さい頃から座り方が同じですね。私も右側だと思いました。 幼いアイを背中に乗せるオキさんは、上野のトトちゃんみたいにですね。 ゴリラ達はみなやさしく子育てをする感じが伝わりました。 ネネさんも少しずつ歩行できるようになっていると聞きましたよ。 食欲も戻っているようです。 大人になったアイに、とても頼り甲斐を感じます。 ネネさんにやさしく寄り添う姿。 これからも二人仲良くね。

Amazing video! Her origins are similar to Monta and Momoko's, they came together as babies to a zoo. Their parents were probably hunted and the babies sold through illegal trade. I just hope Rikki and Nene were not related at all.

ネネさんの歴史が判り年代順に構成されていてとてもよく判りました。アイさんも愛ちゃんだったとはゴリラさん達も色々旅をして大変ですね。お父さんも大きくなって移動してそしてねねさんとの結婚アイさん誕生とかその後亡くなられたとか？色々動物園側としては繁殖また動物園にゴリラさんの展示とか必要な移動だったのかも知れませんが負担になっていたのかも知れませんね。今となっては定かではありませんが絶滅危惧種の西ローランドゴリラさんの飼育の難しさがよく判る事例だと思われます。そのゴリラさんの寿命なのかも知れませんがねねさんがお元気になられる事を願っています。

As a lot of Gorilla's they were stolen from the wild and parents often murdered. Then they spend their entire life in captivity surrounded by concrete walls. Now Nene is ill and is crawling around in filth ( main room is can not cleaned )
