I watched this game live at TI. Me and my crew were outside the Key Arena in Seattle where they had the Jumbotron setup in that big grass lawn. The amount of hype from everyone outside when this happened was something I will never ever forget. Just a massive crowd of people jumping up and down screaming their heads off. Probably my greatest dota memory ever.

I’ve been to NBA finals games, NHL finals, NFL finals, NCAA championship games and I’ve never been with an arena as alive as when I went to TI6. The energy was insane we had to go walk around SoFi in between games because it was so crazy. Plus the wrist lights were so cool and new back then

11:45 believe it was the first mega creeps comeback at an International, prior to that there were a few mega creep comebacks in regular pro matches however (33 to be exact, 2 by EG vs Sneaky Nyx Assassins and vs Fnatic)

Casting was great, and the crowd was really hyped for this game. They're right that it wasn't super polished from either side (I think especially old_chicken on Jugg looked awkward, they didn't mention somehow), but it doesn't matter, polished games can be very boring (TI4?). It's an amazing game because it was close for a long time, it was a megacreep comeback (which was hard and very rare back then), and because EG used some cool tactics to get the crucial kills (triple damage amp + triple dagon), some crucial calls, chronos and arrows. In 2v4 situation, Sumail & Zai kill IceIceIce from full to zero, they might've been throned without that one.

One of my fondest Zai memories was back on Secret in 2015. I had just gotten into watching the Pro dota scene at the time but it was VS old Complexity and Zai popped off on broodmother. He was taking over the whole map. Zai was an absolute menace that game and just did whatever the heck he wanted. It was small but watching that game was so hype for me and my little brother back then.

Awesome! This is my favorite game of all time. I had just started playing a few months before TI6, and I had to pick a team. I became an EG fanboy and the rest is history. I also ended up attending TI8 where I met Cap and Blitz, and I talked to Cap about this series specifically. So lots if memories surrounding this match in particular.

Maybe the gold standard for TI games in terms of pure quality; it was only upper bracket semis Game 1, so nowhere near the finish line in terms of stakes, but what a ending. Glad the recent 7.32 patch has slowed the game down somewhat; you don't need everyone with 2x as much farm as in this game for it to be exciting. The game was fine back then too.

I think Fear actually talked about this Axe pick on his stream. (or it was against Moo's Timber, same TI in any case). He said that at the time he had been really comfortable playing Axe safelane against Timber. He knew how to win the lane as Axe vs Timber and go from there. However, they put the Timber safelane so he had to lane Axe from the offlane and got his ass kicked :)

remember watching this game, i tell my friend EG draft was so good and ehome draft is so bad especially jugg and timbersaw, it felt so weird when EG start losing the lane, and when Ehome push highground, i convince myself Ehome cannot highground with those hero, again ehome did it,. This make me realise dota has change so much and improved.

What is blitz doing nowadays? havent been following the pro scene lately but i remember when i started playing dota 2 and tried to get better at it i found this jewel of a dota channel of blitz, where he taught me so much about the game and i always really liked his way of thinking and talking, actually i could listen to this guy all day. i remember at some point he lost a lot of weight and then i lost track of him i hope he is doing okay blitz you are amazing and thank you for your content you've made years ago !
