Hello 10W70. Oh my lord. I love Zal Cleminson & Alex Harvey to death. Thank you so much for turning me on to this first song called "Armaggedon." All the best.

Thanks for commenting (there is a privately pressed CD 'Zal Cleminson's Sin' Dogs Vol 1 if you can find it, I haven't so far, but it is on Amazon Music). I just wish I had got to the end of the song before I had to change the batteries.

Thanks for commenting. On my channel, there's also a video from the same gig of Zal's Sin Dogs playing 'Faith Healer' an old fave of SAHB followers ('Stickman' is also a great number). I bought tickets to see him at another gig & sadly he disbanded the band a few weeks before it was due. A big shame the Sin Dogs album is hard to find but it is downloadable from Amazon (& possibly other sites) well worth a listen.

Hope I still rock like Zal when I'm his age, legendary guitarist who should've had greater recognition.

I agree. I would've loved to see Zal & Sin Dogs In an indoor venue, alas it's not to be.

I saw him in SAHB at a teacher's training college in '73 ish. He walked straight for the girls sitting cross-legged on the hall floor. They pushed themselves backwards to get away from his scary clown face and sinister, squealing notes. So funny.

I was there, he was brilliant and he scared most of the crowd.

After seeing him/them I bought tickets to see him at Whitby Rocks where he was headlining, only to find the band had disbanded a while before, still, the upside was Ken Pustelnik's Groundhogs took over as headliners & played the whole of 'Thank Christ For The Bomb' (some videos on my channel) also added to the line up was The John Verity Band who were really good (video also on my channel along with Stray ). Thanks for commenting.

Thanks for commenting. I wish this band was still active. He is now playing as 'Orphans of the Ash' with Willie McGonagle (2nd guitar in the Sin Dogs) & has an album 'Ellipsis' Please hit the subscribe button for more of my uploads of various genres & venues.

I don't really like heavy metal much,( or steam punk or whatever ) but Zal Cleminson has always had technique, style, presence, showmanship and above all musicianship and I really don't understand why he is not a way bigger star. I've always enjoyed his work right back to the 70s.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. My channel has various genres of music, quality of sound & video does vary due to the prevailing conditions/venue & my position therein. I am getting better at holding still (my little Zoom q2hd does not have digital stabilisation, my Sony bridge camera does but the sound capture is not as good). Please subscribe to my channel if you haven't already. Thanks again for your comment.

Thanks for viewing & commenting. It is a real shame I didn't get the whole song (as I previously explained the batteries needed changing) I may have got it all if I hadn't recorded the drawn-out entrance by the band, but that's life.

Thanks for commenting. There's 6 more videos from Zal at Cropredy Festival on my channel. It was a shame the band split up before I got to see them play in a indoor venue, still at least I have these recordings to look back on. I do love the song 'Stickman' . This day that they were playing on was very windy, as you can see the stage back screen had to be partly lowered as the rigging was swaying so some recordings were affected because I had trouble seeing the small screen on my little Zoom 2q HD camera which caused me to ocassionally wander, the sound is reasonable especially through headphones.

I saw these at a tiny venue in "Grimsby" and man, is "Grimsby" GRIM!. They were great but there were only a few in the venue, Zal and the band must have been disappointed! I understand they have fallen out and he has (yet again) retired..? I did see Alex Harvey in 1981 at Nottingham Rock City, alas not the SAHB!

I wish I had realised they would take so long to appear on stage, then the batteries would've held out to the song's end. It's a shame the band broke up. More uploads from this gig on this channel. Thanks for commenting.
