A 6.50 kgs, 98cm pike on a frog imitation soft lure 😊 Just over 20 years ago..

But my biggest 2 perches (from the same spot) were 42 cm 1.35kg and 44cm 1.42 kg 😊 River Ouse, some 15 years ago..

Great session. I've absolutely fallen in love with the ribbed paddles Like the swing impact and vibe worms. They've been fantastic on the Avon for Zander for me this year. Had my PB perch on them and some decent double figure pike on the light gear too. Keep it up

They're amazing aren't they? Gunki makes some really cool ribbed paddles too, although I prefer the Keitechs! I think they create a bit more disturbance in the water, and bit like the Fox Rage spiky shads! Thanks a lot mate 👍

@zombiebitefishing I never got on so much with the spiky shades, I'm not entirely sure why, especially since I love a load of the fox rage lures. I've got some china special "equivalents" to the easy shiner and impact swing fat that I really need to get out and compare with the real thing.

@LG_Fishing I've caught plenty on spiky shads, especially the 5cm, pike, perch, trout and chub! I have a video using the AliExpress keitechs, they're good actually! Not the real thing but they catch!

Thanks a lot mate! Yes, it was 4lb15oz in the net if I remember correctly, I think the net is 1lb something (it was my buddys net) so I would say 3lb!

What set up you using, Keitech lures rock but the fat not most durable lure in the world always throw 2.8 might give big ones a go after seeing this

They're amazing lures, too bad they don't last long! One thing that helps is if you glue your lures to the jighead they last quite a bit more! I'm using a Handing M1 5-18g paired with a Shimano SLX DC. The other combo is a Major Craft Lati-Go 5-18g and a Shimano Stella (but that's my mates combo 😅)

@leeramskill2683 I was lucky enough to to try a few Aldebarans, the BFS and the non BFS version and it's definitely my "dream" BFS reel. I tried the steez as well, I loved it and was casting just over 1g without issue, but I prefer my Shimanos for some reason 😊
