I had thought that maybe Zane's original power source contained Source Dragon Energy, which would explain his visions as Lloyd also started seeing prophetic visions after he received energy from a source Dragon. It would also explain how Zane got his elemental powers as the powers originally came from the Source Dragons

I had a thought similar but it was not dragon energy I thought the power source he has was a sort of ice shard that the master of ice made when he saw him in this shard he did all his remaining life force in it and in the process give him a part of his ability making him half human and he got vision beceuas the ice master self found a high level of spirituality so when he gave all his power it was gived to zane

Beceaus remember Reboot it was stated for like 3 second that pixal had never see on earth such a power source and it was in reboot time bro with the flying cars so that need to mean something

Interesting theory, but I think his sixth sense is directly connected to the element of ice. I mean, think about it: Vex used a tablet of ice to see beyond the ice emperor’s palace, which is implied to have been created by the ice emperor. (Not to mention the ice maze in the FSM’s tomb) So for now, let’s say that an advanced technique when mastering the element of ice is the ability to “see” through the “perspective” of wherever the ice is (like, if there was a cube of ice in another room, and advanced elemental master of ice would be able to “see” everything surrounding that piece of ice as if they were there). Bear with me, I’ll tie it together in a second. Obviously Zane hasn’t fully mastered this aspect of his power, at least not completely, but when thinking about other places associated with ice/snow and the future, I happened to recall the cloud kingdom, which happens to be right above a snowy mountain. This is a bit of a stretch, but hear me out: what of Zane can subconsciously “see” into the cloud kingdom through the snow surrounding it? What if, because of this, he sometimes has a bunch of what will happen in the future (hence why he often says things such as “I sense” in the early seasons)? What if sometimes, those “hunches” manifest into dreams? I’m probably just overthinking this though. The writers probably thought it was a fun little gadget for him to use once or twice until they forgot about it.

Maybe he was a conduit to the source dragon, so when he gave his powers to Zane, he also gained some of the conduit abilities.

I have the theory that it come from his power source So I always got the theory that his power source was actually an elemental ice shard that the first master of ice gave to his father beceaus remember that scene in rebooted where pixal was fixing zane she saw his energie source and say she never saw such a power technology and it don’t can’t be found anywhere in ninjago and it was litterally at the time where there was flying cars and all so it really mean something this dialogue was short and never déveloped but I think it show that his power source isn’t something that someone normal can make so I think when the last ice master knew his moment will come and meet zane he decide to pass on the torch but he’s not a human so he knew he couldn’t get his powers jsut like this so he used a bit of his remaining life force to make an ice shard made by almost all his elemtal energy but the elemental energy was bound with his so when he gave it to zane father as a infinity power source when gived to Zane it not only gave him his power but also a part of his self so it gave him his humanity that why he feel pain when he’s not supposed to an can feel emotions but the ice master was full of windsom and got to a spiritual that gave him the power to have vision but that power transfered to Zane too so that how I think zane got his emotion and visions
