A nuzlocke is a challenge put on a Pokémon game to make the game more difficult. It involves things like releasing a Pokémon when they faint, catching only one Pokémon per route, and playing on set mode. For a Hardcore nuzlocke you play with a level cap so you don’t just over level before every gym. You can add on even more additional rules like for this video using only poison types.
