Time for some explanation for those moments Zanny and his buddies didn't know. Imurah is not the Chapter Master of the Thousand Suns, hes some dude thats never appeared before. The true Chapter Master is Ahriman, who would obliterate probably the entire 2nd legion alone. The Daemon is a Lord of Change, a Greater Daemon of the Chaos God Tzeentch. A Dreadnought is both a great honor and curse. When a worthy Astartes has been massively wounded, they'll be put in it. Their actual body will be reduced to just a torso and a head as they'll remain in the suit till death. Some Dreadnoughts are over 6000 years old, their minds falling apart till they are just a monster that knows only to destroy and kill

Worth pointing out Chaos doesn't generally have chapters as the legions were only split into chapters after the Heresy so any chaos chapters came along later (like the Red Corsairs). The originals would be the Chaos legions/chaos warbands depending on how coherent the group remained. (Night Lords have warbands because you have a fight whenever you have more than 2 in a room. Thousand Sons have a legion because they only have a few hundred maybe who are capable of holding a conversation.) Last I was aware, Magnus leads the legion but Ahriman is the First Captain and commands a significant amount of power, both within the warp and within the legion. (I teleport you straight to Tzeentch. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.) Sevetar (Night Lords equivalent first captain) thought he could take him but I think Sevetar thought he could take anybody who Big E doesn't call Son. He's basically a walking exterminatus as long as whoever he's fighting is susceptible to the warp but the joys of serving the chaos god of change is that his support constantly fluctuates and if you throw enough space marines or blanks at him, you'll force him to retreat into the warp. He isn't bad in a martial fight but he's not Kharn and he will quickly hit his limit if he tries to fight everybody directly.

Aight Zanny Here's some lore dump • The Emperor of mankind is at the top basically, he can be as giant as a titan or be his normal human self which is an average man. • His close advisor the most powerful psyker, only second to the emperor: Malcador • the Primarchs, the sons of the emperor, originally was supposed to be his Loyal Generals and advisors that would help him rule a secular Galaxy free of superstition so that "fuck you chaos" twas his ultimate goal, they stand at 11-18ft. • Custodian guard: The emperors personal guard, he specifically genetically created and modified them to be the perfect human beings, literally the fastest, strongest, smartest and most loyal. Second only to the primarchs, they actually don't need a second heart or an extra lung, they are so genetically perfect, they can take most of the bullshit the galaxy throws at them, one custodian continued to fight with half his brain gone. They stand at 9-11ft • His "Angels of death" known for their famous "they shall be the bulwark against the terror and they shall know no fear" the beloved Space Marines. They are made from their Gene father which is their primarch, the emperor basically made a lot of basic vanilla marines and splitting them by quarters, gifting them to the primarchs he slowly but surely found. They all then would get blessings from their primarch father and one of those blessings (aside from their awesome gifts) is a part of their genes which gives the marines under that specific Primarch's command their personalities and traits. • the cream of the crop, the guardsmen, many call them the meat wall of the imperium but sufficed to say, without them, the imperium would have been lost ages ago. They are the backbone of the imperium as it is said that "if a guardsman falls, 10 more shall take his place" • the Adeptus mechanicus is basically also the backbone of the imperium, all them awesome continent sized ships they have? The 100ft tall titans that walk the battlefield? The BANEBLADE!?! Yes they make all of that, without them, the imperium is Xp It is often said that what a guardsman is to a space marine is what the space marines are to the custodes and the custodes and the primarchs go hand in hand together, they custodes are just way more loyal and chill like that 🗿. I basically summarised the imperiums factions a bit but that's the most I can give Zanny, enough to get him up to speed. 15:59 Sort of, Space Marines used to be divided into 18 different legions with each one having tens of thousands of marines, these legions were led by the primarchs, but after the horus heresy (don't worry about it), the remaining legions were split into chapters of around 1000 marines each with a chapter master at the head. So yes a chapter master is technically right below a primarch but the two ranks aren't as directly connected as you might think
