Good explanation I currently have a zappi and currently have eco plus on a schedule to charge on a cheap rate, I am having a 4.3 kw solar system fitted with a battery. If I use eco plus and plug my car in during the day do I need to delete my schedule for overnight

Yes. I struggled with my xc40 phev. I was disgruntled as the Zappi and Octopus energy just didn't seem to work. Then I sussed it. Eco plus sometimes made my car trip out. It wouldn't charge overnight. So just need to make sure it hasn't tripped and it all works fine. Eco plus is the only setting on zappi you need. You can of course change the %age split between solar and grid, for example, 70% solar will also trickle charge my car nicely. You can also "bump" charge using octopus in the day, if you need say an hour or two charge.

Hi steve Having trouble with my zappi wall charger.....the message waiting for surplus comes up on eco + mode but i dont get anything from the my solar,should the ammount being generated show even if i dont have my ev plugged in?

Yes it should, although sometimes it takes a moment to think. You should see the graphic (either on the screen of the unit or on the app) it showing solar generation.

Hi Steve My app shows generation but my zappi does not.. I'm confused how this can happen?
