This song is so bittersweet. AC7 farbanti for some reason thought it was a liberation. So the tone is different. Which is sad, because AC4 clearly was trying to make this bittersweet. AC7 doesn't want you to think about what's going on.

I don't think there's a track that naturally syncs up better to the mood and the action better in the entire series. The radio chatter and music intro set the approach perfectly as you max throttle towards the airspace, then right as the drop hits at 0:34 you cut the burners and get to work. F*cking rush!
