Hi Zara, back in the 60's, 70's, and even part of the 80's it's important to understand that life was VERY different. We were raised to be helpful and success was measured by the good you did in the world.... Not by the material items you collected. The best quote I have ever heard was "You will never see a UHaul following a hearse" by Denzel Washington. Kids back then were latchkey kids, and in some places we didn't lock our doors. It was very more relaxed

Things back then were different ppl didn’t have the same fear based decisions like you would have in the 90s you built up your being cautious based off things like this happening in the past , they didn’t have this stuff as a common occurrence in their lives so they didn’t know they should be afraid, I mean we really didn’t have the fear of this type of stuff till like the early 80s after the Walsh case parents started being a bit more vigilant about watching and keeping tabs on their kids .

Great video, as always! 🥰 I've read and seen so much about this case, it's hard to pack it all into one Video, but you did a great job! 🥰 Just to your questions: Myra didn't approve of David, cause she was jealous as hell. Ian had a pretty close relationship with David, even wanting to bring them into "their world", and Myra wasn't having it. She had literally stalked Ian for two years, trying to get his attention before they started dating. So this guy coming in and getting her place was a big no no for her. Even later she tried to get David into a bad light, saying he was an active part in this from the beginning. While she was the poor victim. She was just a horrible woman. Also, I know the grandma had been out of the house for at least one of the murders committed in the house. I can't recall which one. And for the other one it is said that Ian have her sleeping pills. So that would explain that.

The only ride I’ve ever accepted was from my childhood babysitter, I was waiting for a bus to town and she pulled up and offered me a lift. She was a big part of my life as she was also my cool teenage neighbour that taught me to sing “Killing me softly” by the Fugees while she was learning it on the piano. Thank goodness she had no plans of killing ME softly.

Myra didn't approve of her sister's husband because he had a criminal record or because she didn't want Ian replacing her I mean in the end the husband no one approved of actually came through and helped stop these two. And she was involved. The first what 3 murders were consistent than when they took Lesley things changed they took her to the house and took photos I think Myra could easily been the one to commit her murder maybe that's why it was at the house so she would feel more confident or even because Ian took pictures of Lesley and caused Myra to become jealous and take a bigger part in everything. And she even said she felt she was worse because without her none of the children would have gone with Ian and while I think she was fishing for some kind of sympathy it's true leading a child to a monster directly is just as monstrous an act. I believe in people's right to die but not for cowards who simply don't want to suffer the consequences of their actions.

@@ZaraV yep. It’s knows as the moors murders. Also my great uncle (grandmas brother) worked in Durham prison when she was in there. Along with Rose West. He said Myra had nothing behind her eyes, pure evil. Also another random fact for you lol as the years passed they allowed her to go out with her dogs, they also allowed her to walk around Durham high street…..and the mad thing is no1 has any idea it was her because she looked so different in the 70’s to what she did when she was first arrested. Also I can’t believe the prison guard scattered her ashes near the moor, literally so disrespectful to the victims & their families.

Omg that’s just crazy! Sounds like the case here in Pennsylvania of the school teacher found stabbed 20 times, 10 of which were to the back of her neck and head and one that severed her spinal cord and the stupid coroner ruled it a suicide because her boyfriend claims he was at the gym in their building and the door was locked from the inside with a chain lock but they’ve reopened the case now so hopefully they get the truth for her poor parents!
