The boys weren’t just best friends they were basically brothers. So when Zayn left it might’ve felt like loosing your brother. Harry still tried to be goofy but he looked hurt. Like whenever Zayn was brought up Harry tried to be goofy, made jokes and quickly changed the subject. Part of the reason why might be because if he talked about loosing one of his best friends, who was like a brother to him he’d cry. Even while making jokes he looks and sounds incredibly hurt but is trying not to show it, putting on a fake smile instead of crying.

Okay, so here’s observation: something went wrong with Zayn and Harry, whether they were together in secret or not, and it hurt both of them really badly. I noticed that while maybe it hurt the other guys, it hurt Harry the most, because they had fallen out before Zayn left. He always avoided the subject, and made jokes when it wasn’t able to be avoided. You can even see how the other guys become more cautious of Harry, as well. The other guys also didn’t have as much of a problem talking about Zayn leaving as much as Harry did, and still does. This leads me to believe that for a period of time after, Harry blamed himself for Zayn leaving, even though it wasn’t his fault. Zayn just had to go, for the better of himself, which is fine (yes it hurt the fans, but he was hurting more while in the band than it hurt us when he left if that makes sense), and that’s why it’s a sensitive subject for Harry. Also: for all you Larries (which I believe in the early days, something possibly may have happened between them, but I really don’t know, just like how we don’t know for sure how real Zarry was either) that are saying we’re delusional for believing in the made up stuff that isn’t “facts” like Larry has, I really recommend the channel “Zarry Documentaries” as they out together well thought out videos with great explanations on why Zarry exists, pretty much providing only facts and little/no opinions :)

Zayn may have left for personal reasons. However, even though Harry was most affected, it is possible when Zayn didn't show up to support Louis after his mother died that it could have to do with Louis. Maybe Louis was not the reason, yet possibly Simon. Louis was hurt that Zayn didn't show. The pressure the band was under, I don't blame Zayn leaving.

I think Harry was probably the most affected because I remember reading how Zayn said the two would always go to each other and talk about deep and personally things. Was Harry the reason that Zayn left? No. Not in any damn way. They were really close. Harry doesn't talk about it much or jokes about it, because that's how some people deal with stuff when they got hurt.(including me) Zayn left because of his mental health. Health before career. Every damn person knows this! He also left because of extreme racism. So for the love of God stop hating on any of the boys, they don't deserve it. No one can change my mind.

Alexandra Ale I absolutely do respect them? Just because I ship Zarry doesn’t mean I ship every ship there is, and everyone is entitled to their own opinions. If Zayn and Harry were to come out and say how uncomfortable the ship made them and how it ruined their friendship and cause an unapproachable vibe between the two of them like Louis had said Larry stylinson did, then I would instantly stop shipping them. Harry and Zayn never minded, instead talked about it and continued to interact.

I think you underestimate how much friendship can affect your mentality . Studied for 4 and a half year together got very close to during the last 1 and half year when she suddenly had to move I was devastated. I was sobbing from school to home and was just crying the whole week and missed her . Losing someone close to you is very hard
