Here's the thing. I never was a fan of one direction's music. Back in 2010-2016 I used to have a different music taste, but you know, bands like this are really Hard to ignore. So i knew about them and had seen a couple things about them, but i used to have an opinion about then without even watching interviews or shows. Based on them, i thought zayn was arrogant or selfish, because if you look at his physical perfection, hes propense to that kind of personality. But now, i have been watching a lot from the band, and i see he's so innocent and sweet. And it makes absolutely no sense to me why Would he be ignored by anyone? Yet he is, and its so damn weird because it makes me sad and confused. How can you ignore a guy like that? He has the absolute profile of a celebrity. But it seems like he wasnt happy With it, and now i get why he never looked comfortable. Poor zayn, i think hes my favorite members of the band now.

Harry probably recognized that Liam didn’t need moral support. He was much more confident in himself and comfortable in those types of situations. Zayn, on the other hand, needed reassurance. Edit: now, when it comes to fans and interviewers overlooking Liam’s greatness, that makes me kind of mad. Lol.

This proves that, Zayn said a sarcasm (ref to Zayn wasn't even talking to Harry when in the band). He expects so much from Harry and he got hurt from Harry's reaction from him leaving. And obviously, Harry was too much in pain that's why he can't even say Zayn's name on TV. I believe in the right time, these two will have the best time and moment again.

You can see Zayn getting thinner and thinner. I wasn’t a 1D “fan” when they were at their height but watching these clips of Harry always making sure he wasn’t constantly left out…As someone who struggles with depression and anxiety I have an inkling of how Zayn must have been feeling. I can’t imagine feeling that way and being publicly overlooked (in interviews etc) but then having to go on stage night after night after night. It must have been absolutely soul destroying. I’m pretty certain we were watching Harry basically saving Zayn’s life. If he didn’t quit when he did I don’t think he’d be here today.

So…Zayn and Harry have always been my fave members…also my fave solo careers after 1D. This video popped up as recommended so of course I watched. I didn’t know about this closeness. I can’t necessarily say that I agree with the romantic piece, but Harry definitely made sure Zayn was OK. I thought I was OK until I felt my pillow getting wet. I’m crying right now.

Their friendship was always a unique one, I always had a hunch that they were a lot closer than they let on. I always felt bad for Zayn, he was always talked over, interviewers didn't tend to focus on him a lot, he was so withdrawn because he didn't feel like he fit in much, but Harry did and Harry made damn sure someone was there for him when the others didn't notice what was going on. I don't think they ignored it, I really think that they just didn't know and thought he was just quiet.

I'm so much older than these guys. I was busy being a single parent and homeschooling and all that stuff, that I missed out on these amazing groups. I'm a Harry Styles fan and have some of his tunes in a couple of my playlists. But the love, carrying, friendship, guardian angel, security, honesty, and protectiveness he seemed to share and shower on Zayn brought tears to my eyes. Their bond was (is?) extraordinary and a gift. I don't know enough to know if they are still together or still have that bond. I hope so though.
