The parent-child relationship is invaluable, yet it has been eroded and even attacked by contemporary culture. In this video, Ustadha Hosai Mojaddidi discusses how parents can respond to the challenges of the current moment with the sunnah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.

Masha Allah, how beautifully she articulates the word. I have a 15 months old girl and she is a true gift from Allah. May Allah keep me and my angel on the right path and guide us to become good human beings. My father died 2.5 years ago and he unknowingly or knowingly followed most of the things she said in this video. May Allah keep my father in heaven and bless him as he blessed us with a father who was kind and authoritative at the same time.

MashaAllah how well she has explained the difficult parenting journey! It’s actually simple and requires love and empathy! The mizaj part as imam al ghazali quotes needs MUCH attention from parents!

This talk is great for anyone who parents, mentors or teaches children. Ustadha Hosai clearly articulates the prophetic mindset and method with regards to raising children to righteousness and a conscious practice of our deen building a mindset of self improvement and commitment to a life of devotion. She shared keys to parenting from a place of love and involvement to guide children to an authentic and real practice of our deen. May Allah increase her and bless her with khayr.

Thank you for this. You mentioned Mizaj/temperament theory. Are there any book or course you can suggest please? I'm finishing "The temperament God gave you" and it is fascinating read.

Salam alaykum. Thank you for your comment. The slides were added after the talk and there are different versions of the same hadith, which indicate the same meaning.

siblings are split half married blessed the freedom to do anything they want. Yet use religion as blackmail ( Hadith of parents) to control manipulate the others non married siblings Mentally emotionally forcing them to take care of the parents and all the endless responsibilities while they live freely travel and enjoy life. Some parents are bias towards there offsprings life isn’t fair or just for the children who aren’t written to enjoy Allah’s halal world

To treat a boy as a boy@a caretaker starts when we let them plays with the soil@planting, playing with worms. be a good swimmer@handling a boat in oder to be a lifesaver when floods coming, be a butcher who slaughter their own meat while being a skillfull kitchen helper while they been train to take care their "old folks"/ brother/sisters and their hood....and parents know how to treat their little girl in our muslim "caretaker@caliph" status. A daily basis practice routine direct apply@approach..so theres no more "trans@bipolar disorder" behaviours.theres a reason to separate your boys/girls bed's too.asslmualaiqum wmt
