I need some ow schooling! I’m a dive tank main- ball and doom, I do my thing focusing supports and isolated squishies if not briefly face tanking for space (high diamond/ low masters). This season esp the other 4 seem to die fairly quick to the other tank (usually hog/ not ball). Am I just not peeling well? Do I need more focus on the entire dynamic- but I know the enemy tank is missing at least 2 or 3 of their team. Any advice or insults welcome

I swear, 2 weeks ago I was having so much fun playing Doom. I was winning games, had some good plays and all. Now, I feel like I'm doing nothing on Doom. I keep dying without value, I don't have fun anymore, I'm not doing awesome feeling plays. It's really miserable now. @@Eternalzera ana got kinda screwed since season 9, her damage output is nowhere near as good since it takes 4 shots to kill since each bullet still does 70 damage, you can't solo kill one shot combo if you slept someone because 5+70+70+90= 235 which tbh i dont mind since you can argue its kinda unbalanced. Dps passive makes her healing weaker meaning she has to nade for healing more often and on top of that antinade is way less effective since dps passive is basically a weaker antinade and previous season ita duration was already nerfed. Ana litterally needs sleep dart tho since if she didn't have it, it would be miserable as she would get dived and destroyed everytime.

He was the highest pick rate in top500 leaderboard the previous season and is in the top half of the overall this season. This season can be bad for doom, but he is still a decent pick in tank. Tank overall is the bad role.

He needs heals that zen or Lucio dont give enough of, he has enough mobility so Lucio isnt really needed to allow doom to do stuff either, zen ult can be countered easily, Lucio ult isnt too hot either (more than it already is atleast) Lucio i will say is more on the (better) supports to pair with doom because of a simple reason, cc. Have you played against a good doom / Lucio duo in one Match as a tank? I did. I went both monkey and hog and a bit of rein, with all 3 heroes, i was getting booped like there was no tomorrow, the CC is insane it simply put makes you incapable of going in.

Oh and i forgot to mention, Lucio can follow doom wherever he goes because of his very high mobility. And might be able to get you out of VERY sticky situations, plus, let's be real. Lucio is an assassin.

I’d argue this is one of Doom’s best season, he’s absurdly powerful considering the amount of hp and dps he does now. *And* he’s getting a buff, Doom’s win rate is above 50%, which hasn’t happened since season 1.

Idk man doom feels like he has more risks as compared to reward before the dps and overall health buff it’s just hard to get any value if you don’t play with cover but your team gets rushed and you can’t do anything and if you play aggressively you get melted instantly even while getting healed so the only way to play is in a niche or unpredictable way or have perfect coordination with your team which doesn’t happen often.

Other then some loser picking sombra, in plat I don’t have any issue dealing with counter swaps. But my biggest issue is how bad dps players are in plat. I held my own in 4v1 against an orisa, reaper, Lucio and a life weaver until the team came back

My thoughts on Doomfist. His ULT is HORRIBLE, they fix that and he becomes viable. Leave the ult as it is now, but... remove the indicator of where its going to hit. You already have an audible clue as to where its going to land. But since the hit radius is small and the damage is small a the edges its easy to move out of the way. Remove the hit indicator and he's fixed.

His ult is okay the way it is, it’s just everything else that makes it easy to out maneuver. That’s why Zbra uses it as a way to recuperate and reposition rather than look for specific squishes, the kills from it are just bonuses

Doom just has a really high skill ceiling and it takes a while of being bad before you can actually begin to be good at Doom. Back in OW1 there was a teaser for a hero reveal that included a letter recommending that Reinhardt be given a medal for risking his life to save Torbjorn. One of the characters mentioned in the letter was Emre Sarioglu, a coward who ran away to protect himself. Because this was the only unknown name in the letter, people started speculating that Emre would be the new hero. Some people even made an EmreMains subreddit. In the end, it was just a throwaway name used for a different hero reveal, so every now and then people use it as a joke about how they're excited for/they main a non-existant character.

sorry what? look, i will admit you're a big challenger for the best doomfist, much like getquakedon and other doom mains. but this is not the worst season for doomfist in OW2. he had worse seasons, and after we got the meteor strike things have gotten better. the orisa meta is shitty, but it would have been worse without the meteor strike buff. If you're going to pick a season that is the worst for doomfist, pick one before the meteor strike buffs. other thann that still love your content, keep punching.

Is this really Doom's worst season?....perhaps its just my rank, matchmaking, or my blessings but this is the most success I've had with Doom in a long time...even when the enemy counterpicks me (unless they seriously main that character) I try to swap my playstyle to adjust/adapt and sometimes my team is even able to capitalize on the enemy team dumping their cc into me (usually because the support saved me)
