Thanks!! I usually just use Quad-draw in Maya and do the low-poly from there and then bake it in Marmoset and then throw it into Substance Painter :D

I have a one-pixel blur on my masks, is that normal? is it possible to make the mask stiffer around the edges

Yes! You can drag the masking brush Focal shift down to -100 so it doesn't have any blur.
