This sculpt is done in Zbrush and was rendered in Maya with Arnold. It displays a woman that enjoys the last warm wind of the year.
I printed the model with the elegoo mars in standard grey resin.

Beautiful, anatomy and physiology on point. I love the slight slump in her shoulders, how they curve forward, it gives her a sense of peace. I also love how delicate her eyelashes look and how fine her eyebrows are and the wispyness of her hair, makes me think some brown and red leaves might drift past her face any second. Thank you for this 🙏❤️

a few years I would say. It really depends on the time you spend each day/week/month and how focused the learning is. You can improve quite a lot in a short amount of time if you set a few hours aside each day for learning and have a smart structure what specifically you want to learn. 'Getting better at sculpting' is to broad but 'understanding the curvature and plane changes on the cheekbone' would be a clear task that you can check off if you have understood it properly.

Hello, this is such an awesome work! I'm a beginner myself here and im wondering about something. I'm told that it's better to start sculpting from a low poly and then go up to higher subdivisions level as we work on the details. As it becomes more difficult to smooth the sculpture when it's in high poly. But i'm seeing that since the begininning your sculpt already looks really smooth, do you begin with a higher poly or is there something im missing about? Hope you would answer it! Have a nice day
@FynnGB
@FynnGB 4 жыл бұрын
Hey Hannah, the approach that you describe is something that I follow as well. It might seem smooth in the beginning but I stay at a fairly low polycount(50k for the beginning). I like to use a polycount that limits me in the amount of detail that I can achieve but that still allows me to get nice forms (e.g. enough polygons to flesh out the cheekbones and jawline but too little to start with the lips and eyelids) I used to limit myself too much with a really low polycount which made it hard for me to block out nice large forms because once I went into a higher polycount I had to redo the large forms because they changed shape through subdivisions or became blocky and uneven due to dynameshing a curved surface consisting of large polygons. I hope that helps a bit and if you have any more questions I'm always happy to help!
@hannahraina544
