Instead of having chant gear on you make a dedicated enchantress. that way u can get max chant and the double fire mastery glitch!

The stacking glitch was you exit out of a trade window and every time you do every armor equipped aura stacked again. So you could get like infinite damage auras

Xtimus, what are you thoughts on an inferno sorc? I played during the early 2000's and I recall inferno had a bug of sorts which prevented a proportion of total damage being done. Is that still the case? I feel like a tir-ral inferno sorc could be viable if the damage weren't bugged.

A few questions/comments: - Why use shiver armor and not frozen armor? seems like a waste of 3 skill points (ice bolt and ice blast). - Why so many points to dexterity? - Your mana is higher than life, which makes you vulnerable to blood mana.

Nice video. This is my favorite build (although I always did it with Enchant and no Energy Shield - I will try your build ASAP). However, I prefer LoH gloves for the +20% IAS to achieve the 65% breakpoint (with Highlord 20 and Passion 25), and 2 Ravens for the added AR. For belt, I would go with Verdungo for the dmg reduce and 10 FHR, to achieve the 86 FHR breakpoint, which is quite helpful. The only sucky aspect of this build is 0 FCR...... but I switch to spirit and CTA when teleporting.

This was one of the best builds around back on bnet. It was fantastic for dueling. If you were using dream dream this build should be doing well over 40-50k. My damage numbers used to read 1-xxxxxxx and the numbers would literally go off the screen. Tele in, tele out wait for your opponent to miscast, lock on and destroy in a single zeal.

this is interesting but I have a few questions : Why 212 dex ? is 48% block chances really that important ? Why 160 strengh ? I would've said 156 for Monarch but your dream shield isnt even in a Monarch so why 160 str ? Why 133 Vitality ? if you're using energy shield , isnt it more worth to invest into Mana ? I understand having a decent life total is important still , we're you trying to hit 600 life ? or does stopping at 500 life seems good enough ? seems weird to put ponts in Vita to reach 584 life or is there a reasoning behind that number ? Also , since you already have 160 str, would it be a better idea to have a Dream in a Monarch ? Is the 212 dex useful for attack rating ? This build looks interesting and I might try to make it legit !

its been a while i made a melee sorc, but i would probably also consider those options, especially for pvp: get an armor with CBF (tyrael, gbane, duriel) and free up all rings for angelic halos. i think at this point you do so much damage already, you can only improve by making sure it can hit. the health regen on angelic rings is even significant on ES build. with tyrael and an OS you get comparable amount of resist and better armor as a tradeoff for 8% dr on coh. gbane gives you stats that synergize really well with ES, but forces you to get resist from other sources, which this build lacks, but it might be the armor of choice on melee duels. or maybe check breakpoints for AS, and use treachery. btw im not a fan of prebuff gear either; but equipping treachery as a main armor probably gets you to a breakpoint faster while keeping comparable resist with fade, and the AS is worth more than +2 skills imo.

Hi Bro, Wanna ask how you get 11k ar, when on almost same eq like yours sorc, 4 light sk and 4 ar/life gc's I got 5,3k ar. Also mages shoudl be changed with loh gloves, becaus IAS is more important than 40 FCR bp. So shoudl be ik boots + gloves or ik gloves + belt, wich can change with LoH gloves and eth sands.

The aura stack glitch used the trade window. With a full inventory on both chars, have the other player (or yourself) place a potion in the trade window and then have both accept. It will be reset because of full inventory, and it will re-equip your gear. Do this a trillion times, and you get a massive stacked aura. This has been patched.

Great content Xtimus! I have a build I want to share with you and the community. Fire Ball/Summoner Necromancer. Perfect Trang's (Gloves), Perfect Trang's (Belt), Perfect Enigma (Armor), HotO (Weapon), Perfect Spirit Monarch (Shield), 3 to Summoning 10% FCR (Amulet), 3 to Summoning 20 FCR Magic Diadem (Helm), 2x SoJ (Rings), Perfect Marrow Walk (Boots). Perfect Fire Die Facets (x2) in Helm. Infinity Mercenary. MAX LOWER RESIST, MAX SKELETON, MAX SKELETON MAGE, MAX SKELETON MASTERY, MAX FIRE GOLEM. This build will have max FCR% BP (125%) and will have fair fire ball damage AND will be able to remove most fire immunities in hell! This is a build I created in my mind when I was just about to use it as a public chaos bot on bnet as bots got removed. I hope at least 1 person will get the chance to enjoy this build the way I wanted to. I left some gaps in the build description on purpose so you can figure out the rest. Enjoy!

Dual Dream Sorc is really powerful. I don't like Energy Shield so I just put 1 skill point, 0 on Energy and use most points on Vitality. In terms of PvM I think its even better than most melee builds. Nothing can beat Static Field and finishing monsters with Zeal.

Yes and no. Life Tap is the one only ability to life leech since you deal more than 90% Elemental Damage. Problem about Life Tap is the poor 5% Hit Chance and the higher Hit Chance on double Dream Confuse.

Melee zeal sorcs were my favorite build to run for duels and uber/boss kills, so fucking fun, I will say though, that building a zeal chantress is a bit more flexible when it comes to gear, allowing you to essentially yailor it slightly to what you like, while pushing = to more power than the lightning variant

Holy shock Aura adds a "main" lightening damage (boosted by Lightening Mastery) to primary weapon (your weapon does physical damage + over 40K Lightening damage per weapon swing) and a periodic damage to crowd (this periodic lightening damage is probably negligible). But then because of Zeal granted by Passion, you are swinging your weapon 5 times per attack, which means 5 x 40K damage per attack. Oh... there is crowd control too because Passion has a chance to blind target as well as causing target to flee. That is without factoring in Infinity, which gives your merc a level 12 conviction aura... dare you say, -125% elemental resistance due to Infinity makes your Enchant / Holy Shock do even more damage? So against fire immune, your Zeal + Holy shock + Lightening Mastery allows you to do 5 x 40K lightening damage before Infinity comes into play. Against Lightening immune, your Enchant does fire damage before Infinity comes into play, (and mind you, Infinity breaks Lightening immune 99% of the time in Hell difficulty)

You should actually be able to get the dual dream zealer sorc to 60k dmg. In my opinion the most genius build is the barrier/orb sorc. Pretty much all melee classes will kill themselves attacking you unless they have very high cold res.

Yooo dude you should make a video on the immortal sorc. Look at a build on Jsp, just type d2 jsp immortal sorc build in google. They use sol runes and mal runes for the -damage. They make telek and energy shield. They use iron pelt armor and some other stuff. The idea is that since they already have so much damage reduction the -damage is better than the -%damage. I’ve dueled a couple of them and they are almost impossible to kill.

I was one of the 1st people to use the aura stack...you had to fill your inv and have a friend in game with a full inv...you go to trade menu put a pot from your belt up to trade and both accept the trade wont go through it doubles aura damage and you do that like 10 times for auto kill aura....mmmmmmm those were the days it was very expensive it was the fire aura and was done on a foh pally so theyd put fire sorb on and get that fist on em lol they go light sorb and boom auto kill from fire haha...good times
