Temporal Scout 41 report: I attempted to make contact with the alternative reality Zedaph, thinking him a cleverly disguised Zedaph from another timeline. He was unresponsive to verbal and kinesthetic cues. He seems inanimate, but quite soft. A disembodied hand appeared and removed him. Looks like a being from a separate dimensional plane had simply snatched him away. I wish you well, little otherZed. It's good to see the golf course getting some upgrades. I remember observing a partial match and wondering at the enjoyment people get from hitting a ball into a hole. I look forward to this "Tournament." Perhaps there will be single combat if there's a draw at the end...it's been ages since I've observed a gladatorial match.

So fun fact: it's _not_ actually a 50/50 chance which item gets picked in the bed contraption because it's not actually a _chance._ Random number generators, despite their name, are not random, they actually rely on algorithms that are specifically designed to _appear_ random to the human brain, but in theory you _could_ predict it if you had the algorithm.
