I guess in round three after Edric chased away his father, presumably due to lingering resentment, he and Kikimora began bonding over their collective disappointment with the authority figures in their lives and their respective families, and Alador after being rejected by his own son had become so filled with rage he attempted to kill Kikimora with his bare hands resulting in the two of them being lost to time. and with Emira being murdered by Amity, Amity dying while trying to set up a trap, and even his mother being killed in an explosion caused by Liith he is now well and truly alone. I never thought Edric would be the saddest Blight but here we are.

Pretty sure Edric and Kikimora holding hands the first time was just Edric being nice and stopping Kiki from falling in the river. And since anyone else would have just let her fall she immediately jumps to the chance of having an ally and goes "Hey kid, listen let's partner up" etc and since Edric loves causing chaos but also doesn't really care he's like "yeah sure whatever" so now they have an alliance. The second time they hold hands is because Kiki stepped in a deep puddle and he had to pull her out before ditching her to look at a caterpillar or something far away from the fight being the reason he survives and ultimately wins the round.

While we wait for the third season, I reaffirm that an owl house role-playing video game would be incredible. The characters have become increasingly complex; the argument, epic; magical abilities allow for various strategies (defense, attack, healing, summoning, skill enhancement, hindering opponents...), needed to deal with all kinds of opponents, from massive monsters (perhaps with special abilities) to powerful witches and wizards. and, as if that were not enough, it even gives us ideas for secondary missions (from the possible secondary plots of some chapters to collecting potion ingredients or capturing demons, as indicated in the first episodes of season 2), as well as minigames (grudby, races with rat-worms and canes,...). In short, it has it all, it just needs a little work and interest to get a great video game
