I had assumed that the videos up to that point were to scale, and the predator snail was around 3-4 inches in length. Then to see that the big monster snail was smaller than a fingertip, and this whole drama was happening at such a tiny scale, it was just a very amusing little moment of perspective shift. In terms of best things I've heard softly, in the US the Scottish accent is usually in our media with bombastic characters, but I knew a very reserved Scott who was giving examples for process fluids that might be pasteurized in a heat exchanger. "Beer, or dairy" he said softly. But it was like "bee-yair, and dayairee" and I had to not laugh. Where's my Oscar?

@Silver Scythe Yeah, but if the snail's equivalent of stomach acids is able to help liquify and dissolve the fleshy part of the crab, then it has no chance of hiding away in the shell.
@Davealapoo4 жыл бұрын
@Silver Scythe The premise is that the digestive enzymes would begin to digest the hermit crab alive until the entire content of the foot pouch except the shell could be a drink. This is similar to other creatures that excrete digestive enzymes, like spiders.
