Porco and Pieak make such a great infiltration team since neither of them has been seen in their human form by any of the military of Paradis, so they could never be identified and hide in plain sight. You can tell the two of them work together a lot just by how much information Pieak is able to give to Porco with just a simple wave and greeting to the crowd: She shows she has been caught, and that she has convinced Eren to take her to the roof. She shows that she cannot transform for risk of incinerating Gabi. All the while she is probing Eren for information while still being convincingly cooperative. Porco is able to take this info and use it to nearly successfully kill Eren and steal the Founding TItan, without injuring Pieak or Gabi. The icing on the cake is that he hits Eren with the same move Eren used on Willy in Liberio; launching a surprise attack from beneath his feet.

If you pay close attention to Zeke's titan entourage during his battle with Levi in the previous episodes you may notice where this titan came from that rescued Zeke. Of the 3 titans Zeke has escorting him, Levi kills 2 of them instantly. The third however Zeke transforms and then pulls apart to use as ammo. That 3rd titan if you look, is the potbelly with brown hair that shows up to find Zeke's broken body at the start of episode 16. It was steaming because its body had just finished regenerating. But how did it survive Zeke tearing it apart you might wonder. Go back and take a look at the way Zeke pulls it apart. First Zeke pulls its head off of its body, stopping right above the nape of its neck. Then he flips it around and tears it in two, starting from the bottom up. This would leave the nape as the last part left intact of the titan. You can even see it in the last second of the scene as Levi drags Zeke's blasted body away; the bits and pieces of titan remains all over the ground around them. Except one piece twitches; the titan's tongue and nape are still intact! So after Levi and Zeke left, that titan was able to regenerate its entire body from just the remains of its nape. Its such a tiny detail but its so great that it was shown.

The big flaw with zekes plan was that he would only be shelving the problem, not actually solving it. Also notice a bit of symbolism during toms backstory. Remember how we learned of zeke in season 3, he was holding a monkey teddy? Id recommend rewatching toms explanation and search for anything that could reference a beast titan

During the flashback, I also felt bad for Zeke, but I really hate his and Eren's whole plan. It's crazy that in this episode I was rooting for Reiner, the character I used to hate the most
