Silver bokoblins are smarter than other bokoblins, they recognize bombs and kick them away. Other bokoblins recognize bombs as weapons and throw them back at you. I noticed that blue and black bokoblins will avoid bombs once they experience a bomb blowing up. It's subtle things like this that make this game feel alive.

Yeah, but lizalfos are smarter. They're fast in water, they're even faster in ground, and they can attack you with tail, tongue and by spitting water. They can even "talk" to you, when you're in lizalfo or majora's mask.

So like 2 months ago i started this game, i really enjoyed. As a general rule of mine, i look the details of the games i play, believe me that if you do that you will learn and notice things you don't normally. The behavior of bokoblins amaze me, there's so much detail in just an enemy that's not even a miniboss. I discovered this just by taking a look to what they do: - Hunt animals for food - are able to start a fire and cook meat (even fish, they use spears to cook fish) - Hide to ambush travelers - Recognizes dangers (like metal boxes above them, bombs too) - Use near objects to attack - Grab weapons in the ground - Change weapons if they lost the one using already - Get angry if you steal their equipment - Talk each other - Dance around cooked food - Can tame horses (ride it again if they fall) - Learn from mistakes (being blowed by a bomb) - Taunt? (Lizalfos do this, don't know if bokos do) - If can't reach you or you're fat, they search what can throw at you (like barrels or rocks, even searching the ground for small rocks and it seems they can recognize what's Best to throw at you) Like these, to name some examples, there are some more. Also they are funny and in some way cute.

I hate it when barrels/boxes of food break near them when I'm partying with them in their camps. Lil' mofos snatch it right up! Then again, it is pretty funny to see the other ones that didn't get any get all pissed off and stomp around hehe. Bokos are the cutest monsters. What I love about BotW’s Bokoblins is Nintendo really mastered that ‘probably not all that intelligent pig gremlin’ look and feel they have. The fact that their concept art has them hunched over, tiny bodies, big heads, wielding a crude wooden club, all of it. You really get the feel that Bokoblins are ‘monsters’, yet, when you watch them from a distance in-game, you almost feel bad for killing them.

if remember correctly, demons in this universe are people with alot of negative traits, who went to other dimensions (twillight realm, sacred realm, and so on) where their ugly personalitys became a part of their bodys. so i think it makes sense to think that ALL demons, red bokos included, are corrupted by something (even if that isn't nessecarily ganon)

I know this has nothing to do with the video except for throwing things, but throwing a torch at Fireblight Ganon when the fight starts to stun him is a good strategy. I did it once and then chopped him up with the master sword. It worked surprisingly well.

Throw monster parts at them... Also blue on up will kick bombs away, though blue aren't as quick about it, red ones are stupid when it comes to bombs, and food. Don't know if blue ones can be distracted by food, but basically none of this will work on master mode, except maybe using bombs and noises as a distraction, and the key to master mode seems to be stealth and every dirty trick in the game, as well as unrelenting force and lots of spare weapons and shields. Probably will make rusty weapon and shield cleaning a more valuable mechanic than it is in the normal game, and ancient arrows (as well as other special arrows) more useful, probably will encourage players to get the house and do Tarry Town quite early.
