[Zelda Breath of the Wild DLC]Where to Place the Travel Medallion!

NOTE: It seems like the shock arrows near the Shatterback Point location may not respawn after all, so bear that in mind!
We take a closer look at the Travel Medallion and try to find the best areas to place it - for riches, for weapons or just for fun! Just added in the latest DLC, The Master Trials, this item is very flexible and is probably most useful in a new or ongoing game.

I put mine in the first place you suggested. Nothing like having tons of 30 minute attack+3 elixers and food. Now that I've farmed those I'm going to try one of these other suggestions.

One place that barely missed the list is the bomb farming spot north of the Zuna Kai shrine. Omitted it just because the shrine is so close already, but having access to tons of bomb arrows is a lot of fun too.

Basically, make a warp point at the Yiga Hideout so you can get a couple hundred rupees every once in a while. That is now what I will do.

I have found it to be very useful up on the cliff near the East gate of Lanayru Road (above the memory location) where I can make a fire and farm dragon parts very easily. Also to jump down for a Lynel, hinox, and critters.

Dragons actually recharge after 10 minutes (real time), so all you have to do is wait on the dragons back. Also, you can draw out its path by setting a marker every so often while riding the dragon throughout its entire route!

I put my travel medallion near the big tree that gets full of rare bugs when the Lord of the Mountain spawns. I just pop back there and capture all the beetles that Beedle is jealous of.

Tarrey Town doesn't really need it. The shrine close to it is just a short glide away. Probably takes barely double the time it takes to jump down from the closest shrine to Kakariko.

That would defeat the purpose of having only one single travel spot, as it would be broken in many ways, even if it would require you being near there before or something. It's bound to your current location to balance it just to use it for a temp bailout anywhere or just farming stuff. I would like having more then one though.. 3 or so would be nice. If you already explored the map I don't tend to have much use out of a travel gate more then once or twice until I don't need it anymore or need it somewhere else.
