You have to fight the first lamola, then go to the guys to actívate the quest

fully zone out of the entire area and into another one, make sure you have done all the other side quests and talked to everyone in that area also, it's a common bug I had the same issue last night

No you actually just have to talk to the guard standing next to the king in the throne room of hyrule castle about it

In the eternal forest

By killing the lynel

Go to the Eternal Forest and find footprints. Follow those footprints. It'll get you to an open area (in a roundabout way) where you'll see a Lynel.
