what i really liked about echoes of wisdom is how powerful echoes feel. you get the bed in the escape sequence and you think: wow, i'll probably use bed stairs for the rest of the game. then you find the spiders. then you find the water block. then you find the floor tile. the same for combat echoes. the "stop hitting yourself" urchin. sword moblins. bomb fish. lizalphos. and then you just humilate bosses with a zerg army of octorocks.

Regular Octorocks cost one triangle, so you can spam-summon them easily and use them as a gatling gun. They still fire if you pick them up! The Flying Tile can be ridden across long gaps. Boulders are cheap and can be used as an alternative for crossing lava. Spinning blades can be ridden on to cross long distances quickly. Crows almost always steal rupees from enemies, and are a good source of farming early on. Carrots summon a horse, once you complete the relevant side quest.

I'm surprised you didn't mention that little fire blob. Tons of enemies are weak to fire and it even solves several dungeon puzzles. Literally useful in two of the three final dungeons.

Combat wise I love Boomerang Boarblins, you can summon 3-5 of these things even early on, and they all stand between you and your enemy and just fill the air with boomerangs...

I have the Old Bed for stairs, and Zelda's Bed for healing without using potions or hunting for hearts. So... Basically any time I'm NOT actively in a fight. Combine that with the Silk Pajama's outfit to boost the healing from Beds, and it's plenty quick, and free!

Dragging a flock of crows into areas full of one-shot wonders like ropes and zols while wearing the rupee+ accessory gets tons of rupees fast - not only will rupees spray when they are first hit, the crows will collect them for you.

I love jumping on floor tiles and platbooms to get to places, just very convenient. For combat, I love using wiz robes especially for elemental enemies. It’s easy to use bind to make the enemy stay stuck in place and then whatever echo you are using against them has an easier time getting in its hits.

Clouds and peahats best echoes in the game If you got the frog accessory equipped you can just use clouds too fly in all 8 directions with good timing in 2d sections. And peahat early game echo Upgrades too 3x capacity Flying spin attack that lasts a long while and when it vanishes you can resummon for an instant restart up. Peahats may not be for massive dps on enemies like swordfighter but they hard carried in null because of their aoe basicly making each hand die at the same time. Also sharks are basicly the peahat alternative for water segments

I never thought about dragging monsters into water blocks, that's pretty funny! My go-to combat beast was always the L3 Darknut. Sure, he's slow, but that doesn't matter much when you can spawn him on top of your enemies from a distance.

The Moa made a real triumphant comeback this game. You can summon three by the endgame and they're such a good firing squad while you use sword mode or the automatons. Also cloud echoes= late game flight.

Just a heads up, when using the water blocks, one block must remain in contact with a solid surface in order to keep the chain of water blocks going even as you place enough to start despawning them… this can include the walls or the ceiling… and what’s more is that said ceiling can be the transparent ceiling in a top down view indoor section.

Regarding the lynel I'm pretty sure you need to hear the rumour from the priest in the temple and start a sidequest for the tracks to show up and I believe that's a mid-game thing at least. One echo that I found extremely useful early on is the peahat, found in a cave early on in the starting region and part of a quest too (but you don't need to start it I think). The guys have a bit of rev time but once they are started the just go chainsaw on enemies and keep damaging them until they are dead. I used it even in endgame at which point they become cheaper and you can get three at a time.

Going to make a mention of the lvl3 darknut. It's typical spin attack is great for crowds and it's armour is so thick most things can't even hurt it. It's an obvious choice sure, but I overlooked it for a while so I'm bringing it up.

I also relied on the sword moblin level 2 for much of the early game. It costs 4 and has all the benefits of the level 3 you mentioned. It has more HP and attack power than any other enemy in the first 2 dungeons and doesn't even take damage most of the time with its shield.

Getting the Spiked Roller Echo from the cave due north of Hyrule Ranch basically gives you a multi-tile portable lawnmower, though it loses momentum after a handful of seconds. Pair it with the Rupee+ brooch for some easy money (mostly green Rupees) in open areas with lots of grass like the Faron Wetlands.

I never thought of combining birds (or bird and meat) with Bind to fly. But I did get the Level 3 Sword Moblin relatively early. As in, before I was able to use it early. Thankfully, I'd managed to get up to the requisite number of triangles to make use of it. And it's been my go-to land-based fighter ever since. It's just so dang strong and durable with the shield. I'll have to look into getting the Lynel since I'm in the endgame, and those things are usually STUPIDLY strong in the games they appear in. So that should make for a decent help in fighting bosses, too.

The jumping inside a pot i once did by accident. I knew it said in the description but ironically when i tried it i couldnt do it, but somehow i once jumped into it by accident. It makes the gerudo side quest for stealing the treasure really easy

I found in the later parts of the game 6 boomerang boarblins as the best defense echos. The final bosses were a cake walk if you kept spamming them in surrounding the bosses. Taking down the lynel with them was almost too easy.

The lynel echo is said to be the best single summon to fight with but the white wolfoes may be the best over all. It costs less than the lynel to summon, it summons up two more base wolfoes at no cost, and they attack quicker than most echoes. This may be well known but everything I’ve seen about the best monster echo always points to the lynel.

So, recently I found a speedrunning trick using flying tiles. We all know that you can jump on them to get a little boost in the air, right? Well, I figured out something that would allow you to fly halfway across Hyrule lmao. XD I call it the flying railway. You can chain link flying tiles together, and with practice, you can even change directions mid-air, making it a nice quick way to get around.

You need to level Tri enough to have 6 tris following it and then you find a straight enough path to where you can summon a tile and jump onto it, then towards the end of the flight, you charge up a summon and release another tile and immediately jump onto it. You can rinse and repeat this process allowing you to fly halfway across the map from certain places in Hyrule. Just gotta make sure nothing gets in the way mid-flight. It does take precise timing though to pull off, so it's not an easy trick, but it can definitely be a good speedrun tactic if needed.

I honestly used spear moblins for everything. I'm pretty terrible in combat, but during the last dojo challenge, I beat the talus in 38 seconds using only spear moblins. By that point, I could summon 6 at a time. I also beat the final boss with spear moblins. Sure, they don't do that much damage on their own, but since you can practically summon a whole army, they can overwhelm whatever you're battling.

The lv3 darknut is the best in terms of combat. Attacks faster and hits harder than any other with its spin attack and can take more hits than the lynel. Actually I used it to easily take down the lynel and the final boss. Lol

There's a warp at the start of the dungeon right before the floor breaks, so you can literally just warp out of the pitfall trap as soon as you get control at the bottom. Awesome that there's multiple ways of getting out of the trap that don't require following the intended long way around lol

The only thing that sucks about this game is that the only way you can get 100% is if you use amiibos to get some items like clothes. There are 3 items of clothing that yoh can only get with amiibos. If Nintendo would make enough amiibos to keep them in stock in stores, then I'd have my amiibos that I would need. But since you can only get them online for exhorberant prices there is no way that I will pay those prices. So if anyone has found out a way to get all items without using amiibos, please make a video doing so. I hate not being able to not 100% my games!
