I think wind waker and twilight Princess is next in line. 2025 for regular switch. Remake takes more time than port and I believe a full on remake needs 2 year with split resource to next 3D zelda

An ocarina of time remake is already in development right now. The Zelda LEGO set coming out is an ocarina of time great Deku tree set. The Zelda art book coming out will expand upon ocarina of times story, just like tears of the kingdom expanded upon the imprisoning war and ganons origins. Nintendo renewed the copyright trademark for ocarina of time a couple years ago, and put the game on NSO. And grezzo started hiring for a medieval adventure game a couple years ago. Ocarina of time hd will be a launch title for switch 2 in 2025.

I would love a remake and probably would sell pretty well. I think it’s super dangerous for Nintendo to do though. It’s a lot of people’s favorite game or one of their favorites. So any changes at all is going to piss people off. Even if it’s an awesome and fun remake, there will still be people bad mouthing it unless it didn’t change anything regarding the gameplay or art direction which is almost impossible with a remake to not make any changes. That’s why remastered with modern control changes seems to be their go to recently with certain games and it makes sense. You get none of the backlash, easier to make, and doesn’t ruin anything special about the game.

My guess is that, since Nintendo didn’t really go big for the Zelda 35th, they might go big for the 40th. Possibly a proper modern remake of Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, and Majora’s Mask? Either that or Wind Waker and Twilight Princess next year as a launch title, Ocarina and Majora’s Mask remake for the 40th, next major 3D release by 2027?

I’m pretty sure if they did do an Ocarina of time/Majoras Mask Remake it would be during the 40th Anniversary which falls in Feb 2026. It’s too close to date they should not pass it unless it’s a different remake(s) for the 40th.

Would be interesting if they gave OoT a FF7/Oracle remake. Split it into 3 games. Game 1 Ganondorf is the protagonist and tells the story from his perspective. Game 2 Zelda/Sheik is the protagonist. Then Game 3 is Links story and beating all 3 gives you a special epilogue.
