He does that so the soft soil at observatory will have the floating pad already available so he can get over the fence immediately

I know I’m 2 months late but for anyone asking why it works, it has something to do with flag checks in the code, for some reason, that tatl text box at the great bay fence and planting in the soft soil patch by the observatory both activate the same line of code for that floating pad to appear

Because that's just going to cause unpredictable trouble that will lengthen the randomizer to unenjoyable runtimes for races or events.

I think at the time, he was preparing for a live event and wanted to use the same randomizer settings and same emulator settings for practice ahead of it, and he wanted shortish 4 hour runs that are guaranteed bearable so he used nearly no logic and I think the mm ark emulator

current route is still being made with lots of intricate and complicated new mechanics that were found somewhat recently. That being said though, I also wish 100% would be back.

@@qaywsx583 It was a joke reference to whenever he would do his rare once in a full and a half moon randomizer whenever he was bored of hundo, only to return to his months long grind, for people to immediately complain he became a rando streamer, he would frustratingly explain it was just a one off and that he hadn't fallen off yet. I totally understand and even expected it to be as such, 100% rout can be either stagnant, slightly improved or another SRM like shit found or something.

I hate the time spent in most speedruns just for new tech to make thousands of hours of obsolete runs. Like the original 17 or 18 min oot any% by cosmo or whoever it was, now srm has destroyed that, to the point that oot can be beaten within the 5 minute game demo on I think the smash bros melee GameCube disc
