Christianity isn't waning out in Europe. In European countries most people just think that religion, political issues, sexuality etc. are private matters. Where I live (Christian) religion is mandatory subject in all schools in 1--9 grades and schools even take kids to church annually. Those who aren't Christians learn about all religions, moral and ethics instead. In schools there are usually just few kids who aren't Christians.
