That bracelet brushing reminds me of an Aqua Terra

The presumption of these unknown brands continues to astonish me. For £750 I would personally buy a Citizen Promaster diver from Argos (£200 at most) and put the remainder into a weekend break somewhere. I really would genuinely love for a marketing bod from this brand, or the dozens of others of young startup brands, to explain to me how they arrived at the conclusion that their product was worth this much in beans. I speak as a completely ordinary person here. Ordinary life, ordinary income. For me, going above £200 means looking into Swiss brands. Tissot. Hamilton. Rado. Certina. Something with heritage, in other words, which is only being bought for a special occasion. And heritage can't be simulated by any of these new, endless, tedious brands from South East Asia. I wish the best of luck to all of these young Watch brands, but they can't simulate a retrospective historical brand presence.

I definitely understand your mentality, but Zelos consistently sells out every model they make, so if the watches sell out at the prices they are charging, that is the justification :) I think some people just really like microbrands for a variety of reasons. But as you say , historical brand presence takes time, and that is something many microbrands will not survive to see.

I have loved everything about it so far, I have the burnt orange as well! The only thing that it lacks is the lume pip is nowhere near as bright as the other lumed areas! But other than that everything is fantastic! You’re also right about the warranty, since it’s a new movement I would have liked to see additional years but, Elshan always seems to take care of his customers

Yes, I think worst case Elshan would take care of you. I have had great experience with him in the past.

As long as you buy at preorder prices you literally cannot go wrong with Zelos. I’ve had a few and I’ve let them all go after brief and intense honeymoon period. Upshot being that at preorder pricing you can almost always sell for no loss or even a modest profit.

Good point, I have actually really fallen in love with this one, it just took some time. Thanks for watching!

Although all watch aficionados love and praise Zelos (can agree for their quality, mvmt, finish, etc etc), i'm still not convinced of their design language, can not connect with weird angular cases and multipart hands they tend to use. Luckily this is not so pronounced for this model, still i'm bit hesitated. Thanks for the review Jason, be well mate. PS Always happy when "Bastet" makes an appearance, this time tripled it, one in rush! 😉

I get it, they are good quality but ugly, I agree except for maybe 1 or 2 of their models.

Haha, I'm glad you noticed, she was running at WARP SPEED around the house. I agree on the design language too, it almost looks like a toy.. that is they way I see Zelos sometimes. I can report that this one has grown on me ALOT. I just keep wearing it!! Which to me is the true test if I will keep a watch. Thanks for watching as always :)
