A warm weekend in February? I'll take it! I finally made it down to St. George, Utah to ride Zen trail. I've heard so much about it and seen videos over the years, but never had made it down. That night I camped for free at Hurricane Cliffs, public land with numerous dispersed camping sites. The next morning I was able to ride straight from my car to the JEM trail. It was a fine weekend in the southwest Utah desert!
Rode on my new YT Jeffsy Core 3. I'm loving this bike so far! It handles this chunk so much better than the old Jeffsy. Really looking forward to riding more big mountain trails on it this summer! Melt, snow, melt!

I know where I took a wrong turn, initially, onto the "Mario World" trail, but then that trail was very faint. They need some signage out there!

Great video. I have one day to ride out there while on vacation with the family. Was planning on Jem to Hurricane Rim back into town. Do you think it’s worth it or would you ride something else in the area? Couldn’t tell if you were enjoying Jem

It's not as fast as I'd like, but that'll depend on what you're used to. I ride a lot of fast trails, 25-30mph. I rode part of Hurricane Rim back in 2020 and enjoyed it!

@@rockresume oh yeah, should be plenty fast for you! If you've got the leg stamina I lack, you can really pedal and get more speed, too.

Not surprising at all that you kept losing the trail. Definitely not the same as these trails around DFW where it's obvious.

And there's 0 signage out there. Need a sign whenever there's a split!
