I met my current wife at the age of 14. I had previously gone to Catholic schools and now in high school I see a girl that I can’t stop staring at. I would wait for her at my locker every morning. I finally asked for her number but when I called I didn’t know what to say. I called a second time and this time she took control and invited me to her church. Sunday arrived and she showed up with her boyfriend driving and took me to her church. Needless to say I was broken hearted. Monday arrived and I waited at my locker just to see her walk by. As she passed a voice; not my own, said “Some Day”! I answered that voice with a firm “ yea right”! 33 years later I meet her again and this time I tell her all about the 14 year old boy that was crazy about her! I used to write her name down over and over as if she was already my wife. I shared with her everything I thought about her at 14. She’s my wife today and I’m pleased to say that everything I felt at 14 I still feel today. Our relationship has been and is a dream come true.

A few months ago I was going through a time where I had no direction. I'd been a carer to my partner for years. When he died last September I felt my focus ended...a nothingness. Then a couple of months ago I had to have work done on my house. I felt totally disinterested. The builder who came to repair the damage noticed my, I guess sadness. We talked about life, death, everything really. We spoke about travel, his dreams, my past travels, suddenly he said, why don't you take a holiday, I can see Thailand has a special place in your heart. So here I am flight, hotel and bags packed...I'm off to Thailand. This young man changed my mindset in one sentence. He didn't stop by, by chance, he was meant to meet me along the path of life.❤

I've had the opposite experience. I thought a person came into my life at a low point to help me get past my divorce. But as we became close it occurred to me that I came into her life to help her get out of a bad relationship. Any help she gave me was a bonus. We've lost touch over the years, but there is no doubt in my mind that we were meant to meet at a time when she needed someone like me to be there.

I hadn’t dated for seven years. Someone I loved died and I felt loss without him. Actually, I loss three people that meant the world to me and this guy was the last person, who gave me support and made me feel whole. After 7 years I bumped into someone while walking. I thought he was handsome. I smiled but kept going. He sent me a friend request on Facebook. This was the same guy I bumped into while walking. A few months later, he invite me out. I thought he was too young and my first reaction was no. So I delayed in responding. I finally responded and said yes. From the first bump into, to the first date, to the first hug, I felt there was more. It’s like he sees through me. We started seeing each other. Whenever I see him it’s as if, we connect. I can’t explain it. He puts his arms around me and I feel safe.

I just had an interview for a job I had a basic understanding of. It turns out I wasn't a fit for the role at this time. I was almost going to just cancel the Interview and go about my day. I ended up talking to the recruiter and she gave me career advice and introduced me to an area of study I had never heard of. This new area feels like a fit and is something I knew nothing about. I now have new career paths I can look into while I continue to work at my current job. I can see how this new career path can have more importance and meaning compared to my current job. All it took was maybe 8 minutes of our 20 minute conversation. Had I just declined, I would not have gotten that useful information. Had it been with a different recruiter, they could have just agreed I wasn't a fit and moved on to the next candidate. I can feel my career path shifting and it's all because of a chance 20 minute encounter.

WHY do people overthink and overcomplicate things🤷🏻‍♀️ If I were to meet someone at the gas station or supermarket or out in public somewhere how for the life of me does that person change or shape my life just by passing by? and vice versa myself to him/her/them. This stoicism shit is somewhat of an adulterous nature because of putting such bullshit imaginary ideas into people's heads that is why we have so many narcissistic, stalker, over addicted attached types who cry and carry on after other people's wife or husband when that person is clearly already HAPPILY MARRIED That person is there to get fkn gas or to do some shopping or for an appointment or to dine out not looking to pick up anyone or look for a side ho or manwhore! I nearlly knock people out at times when I go places because they are either right up my arse or body not one thought of "oh I may be invading this person's personal space" nope not a care in the world AND other times it's like teaching small immature children "excuse me did you just grab that in front of my face no fkn manners I tell ya?!" Well one day I may resort to a violent act do help me by the grace of God punch someone in the fkn mouth or kick them in the fkn ball sax then run off so I do not get charged or arrested. If you are truly lonely get help from a counsellor or someone you trust or get around friends or family in real life as in reality not hide behind a fkn cellphone that is not really helping at all but excerbates things to a psychotic sadistically sad level. "Master," Hiroshi asked, "why do I sometimes feel an instant bond with some people, while with others I sense discomfort?" Hotaka opened his eyes, which twinkled with wisdom, and replied, "Dear Hiroshi, no meeting is a coincidence. Each person you encounter plays a specific role in your life's story. Some stay briefly, while others linger longer, helping you through various seasons of your life." He pointed to the birds soaring in the sky and continued, "Like those birds, we don't fly randomly through life. We are carried by unseen forces, meeting others for reasons deeper than we might understand. Think of your life as a garden," Hotaka added, his voice calm and soothing. "Each person you meet is like a seed that destiny plants in your path. Some grow into beautiful flowers that bloom brightly but briefly, while others become mighty trees, providing shade and shelter for many years." Hiroshi reflected on the people who had come and gone in his life, likening them to various plants in a garden, each contributing in its own unique way. "The ones who hurt us," Hotaka continued, "are like stones in our path. Though they may cause us to stumble and feel pain, they also make us stronger, helping us grow and find our inner strength." "Consider this," Hotaka continued, pointing to the flowing river beside them. "Just as each drop of water contributes to the river's might, each person you encounter adds to the river of your life. Some are like small tributaries, bringing new insights and energy, while others are like undercurrents, challenging your strength and resilience." Hiroshi listened, captivated by the metaphor, as Hotaka elaborated on three profound types of individuals we meet: The Catalysts: These are the people who compel us to move beyond our limits. They challenge our complacency and push us toward new horizons of understanding and achievement. Like a stone thrown into a still pond, they create ripples that change the very shape of our waters. The Nurturers: These are the ones who nourish our spirits, providing comfort and support. They are like the sun to our gardens, helping us grow and flourish even in the darkest times. Their presence reminds us of the goodness and light in the world. The Reflections: These are those who reflect back to us the truths we need to see about ourselves. They help us acknowledge our weaknesses and strengths, driving our personal evolution. Well at least we have a kinda universal affinity to point to a cup of coffee with such warmth. I mean it's a warm thing. I can count on that warm thing from humanity. It can't be all that bad when I can enroll another being into a cup of coffee that's welcomed as a tender offering, it wasn't always that way for mankind. So we are civilized enough to call up some universal jester with no reserve of fear of rejection. We have coffee-d ourselves upwards. I can't go up to a stranger and ask them if they would like to have a peanut butter sandwich with me. But I can have their sincere attention over a cup of coffee... You see people don't want to give up all their core sweetness. They'll never give up on the coffee way in. Ha. Just saying I appreciate humane warmth it blows me away. Allow the lessons to sink in; be grateful for them, for the knowledge and growth, and continue on. Never be fearful of starting anew. Difficult to see that forrest when the trees are bending, burning and breaking before our eyes, but that forrest could hold better things for us.
