ZENAQ EXPEDITION EP55-14 vs. DAIWA Saltiga Air Portable 11500-175 two heavy jigging Rods

Compared 2 highclass jigging Rods for traveling and catching the biggest Fish out there (Amberjack, Tuna, GT's, Groupers, Snapper aso.)
Lifting 10kg to the same level with both Rods to compare.
The ZENAQ is a 2-Piece Rod, the DAIWA is a 3-Piece Rod.
The bending Curve of the two Rods are different, the ZENAQ is softer and bends over the Grip up to the Reel-Seat. DAIWA is stiffer, but also a good feeling in lifting weight.
Who is fishing one of this Rods and what are your thoughts?

Unfair comparison, the Daiwa has a fantastic extra feature, it is in three pieces to be highly transportable. That it works so close to the two piece Zenaq is incredibly impressive!

yes, i totally agree with you! the Daiwa is way shorter. And i think the Daiwa will do also a good job. And not to forget it's less than half the price of the Zenaq. Love to compare them soon with some big Amberjacks...... and bigger Sharks take them on the way to the survace.

@@BlackMamba-lt8oe this is not a must! there are today 5-Piece Flyrods nearly same as good to cast, than 2-Piece Rods. The last years they learned a lot. Very important is to check often if the pieces are stick good together, if not they will break.

Zenaq's bend is more forgiving and you can lift rod higher while pumping big fish. Daiwa have powerful butt, but you have to watch the lift angle while fighting big fish

I have mosty Daiwa rods but have one zanaq honestly the zanaq is more of a wanky rod to show how cool i am the daiwas are the workhorses hahaha i wouldnt buy a rod that expensive ever again

The ZENAQ is bending from the Tip to the end of the Grip, this is a typical and highly welcome feature of all ZENAQ's. Compared to the Dawai Saltiga, where only 2/3 of the Rod does the work.

C'est simplement parceque la Daiwa a une plus grosse réserve de puissance, la position des mains n'est pas non plus la même et on voit bien sur l'image le manque de confiance sur la Zenaq

@@arnaudlemoine2511 Ce sont deux cannes à pêche de grande qualité! vous faites tout correctement avec les deux cannes à pêche et j'aime vraiment pêcher toutes les deux 🙂 Le problème avec les poissons dotés de cette puissance de combat est généralement le pêcheur et non la canne à pêche !

This only proves one thing; you have a lot of money😂. I love both of those rods btw, however, If you ever get the opportunity try the Jigstar phantom, you’ll be pulling tuna out of the water like you’re pulling weeds out of the ground.

The Jigstar phantom is a great rod. But not available as a multi piece rod for traveling. I love to fish one piece rods, but i hate to travel with rod tubes.

Both Rods are great. The Zenaq has the typical bending curve over the whole Rod. The Saltiga is in the last 1/3 stiffer. This gives a different feeling in drilling big Fishes.
