The section 31 shield in my opinion looks the best. I actually tried out the free alliance vanity shield on my edison as well and it looks really good. 👍

By the way, you often display disapproval of the Veteran and Type 6 materials while usually at least being favorable to Type 7... But the Veteran and Type 6 materials don't usually sit well on their own. They're often made to be accompagnied by the Andromeda patterns (also, there's the Quasar pattern, which only appears when you have Veteran material on; though I won't vouch for it). Type 7, by default, already has darkened areas everywhere the Andromeda pattern looks darker. It sound sobvious you kind of favor it for its contrasts on top of the material quality... but both Type 6 and Veteran really don't look so bad when you actually pattern and tint them the right way. One of the better expressions of the Veteran material is on the Chimera-class (Tier 5 Fed Veteran ship), which it was bespoke-made for. I think you're not giving these two materials much of the benefit of the doubt. I'd recommend you revisit them (no need to make a video over it) on ships like the Odyssey, Chimera and even this Edison-class while slapping on the Andromeda pattern. Will they be your favorites? Probably not. Will they be superior to the Type 7? Not necessarily. But I think you won't find them to feel as bad as you've made them out to sound in your previous visual reviews. I always thought the Veteran material had a gorgeous sheen to it, which should become evident if you spin yourself around in a well-enough lit area of the Sol system.

2410 is the 25th Century. I think the Risa shields should be included simply because wanting to exclude the ones "we" don't like should also include the Breen shield.

It is a shame Cryptic placed the Hoover ship-skin behind a separate paywall if I understand it correctly. I don't mind some of the ships having fleet versions as Cryptic does, but if players buy then just include the visuals imo. This Edison & Hoover are both good looking ships, but won't probably be buying. I'll definitely be considering the Rom & JH versions though for in the future since more account accessibility. Anther good job displaying most of the visual options for the ship! I don't mind the GamePrint ad at all.

Arrgh, he stopped tinkering with the ship tailor before he tried the other ship hull. Almost ten minutes trying other ship textures and just a few seconds the other ship parts... Anyways, thanks for the Video!!! I really don't understand why STOs ship designers always put the engineering hull directly under the saucer. It 99.99999% looks absolutely awful. Especially here with this ship design which would look really nice, if they had put the saucer more to the front of the ship, seperating engineering hull and Saucer more. It would look really elegant and fantastic, but as it is it looks more like a car accident tbh. Btw, that's what they did with many TOS ships too. It looks so awkward and just terrible.
