When I go to create a sync, the only module available to select is Leads. But I would like to sync my CRM contacts. How would I go about that?

There are two Syncs now in Zoho Campaigns. One for the leads module, the other for the contacts. Once they are created they won't show up anymore. If you are are seeing the option to choose between instant and periodic sync after creating a sync you are on the old sync and need to open a support ticket with Zoho.

How can you fix a previously synced list? (for example, lets say I synced the contacts list but I accidentally deleted them and now I cannot resync the same list) Is there a way to deleted an old synced list and resync the list?

Ideally, you should be using Segments and not list for this purpose. The segment will constantly update based on what is reflected in the CRM.

Hi, love your videos, thanks for sharing all the info! Once the sync is set up and I send emails over Campaigns, is there a way to see the send emails also in the crm contact details. (Like I would when I send an email over the CRM)? Thanks for your help!

Hi Fabian, Yes, the Campaigns related lists will show basic campaigns information on the Contact record from emails campaigns sent from Zoho Campaigns.

What about filtering out Vendors? We have already synched our contacts, but there is no field to map using our custom field "Vendor Name" in contacts. When we want to send out campaigns our vendors are included and do not need to be.

We have a walk-through coming on an AZAAZ episode for you this month. Until that airs though, the main cause of this is Vendor Name is actually a Unique Field associated with the vendor module. And unfortunately, there is currently no way to Sync this field with Campaigns. You can however do a couple work arounds which we share in the upcoming video, one being creating a checkbox field called "Is a Vendor" in the contacts module, and creating a Workflow that if Vendor name isn't empty, update that field. This field can be synced with Campaigns as an exclusion. Hope this helps until the video drops!

Hi Tyler, excellent video. Can you share, in a nutshell, what your 'best practices' are for a contact with multiple deals? Would it be the same as your recommendation for Contact syncs? For instance, are we just keeping the data within CRM and pushing it out to Campaigns? Or is there something else you would recommend? Much appreciated!

Depending on the fields automating this into a segment may not always work. You may need to make a custom report in the CRM and export it / import it as a list into Campaigns for the most accurate list you are trying to target.
