Looks so much bigger. I for sure thought it was 43mm. The design is amazing. Originally I didn’t like the watch color but after seeing different angles it grew on me. I think this is a beautiful watch!

An option to consider is a Doxa Sub 300T Professional, which has a unique design from the same era, with an orange dial and 1200m water resistance, for about 1/4 of the price. The sacrifice is the lack of an in-house movement, but again it’s 1/4 of the price

Awesome review my friend.. but you missed out one small detail which I see no one is mentioning, the folding clasp on the bracelet.. we don't know if it's milled or stamped or if it has micro adjustment.. we the watch nerds would love to know.. keep up the great content 🙌⌚️😃👍

The clasp is milled! Super solid with a folding dive extension and springbar/pin micro-adjustments. It definitely holds up to the rest of the watch in terms of finishing and even counters the heft nicely. A high quality, balanced package for sure. -Jonathan

Excited about this review. I have one on order and I am eagerly awaiting it to show up. Hopefully this review means they may soon start getting some deliveries in. Im glad despite the height it doesn’t feel like such a slab like the black bay. That was a great comparison to give.

It’s nice to hear a watch columnist talk about the differences in a watch’s construction and how that impacts the perceivable thickness of the watch. I purchased a Longines Big Eye, and it never made it out of the box for longer than a couple of minutes before I decided to move on from it, due to how big it felt on wrist. On paper, the Big Eye has a reasonable thickness for an automatic watch, but when you get it on wrist, you really feel every mm of that 15mm case. But then I’ve owned watches with thicker cases than the Big Eye that didn’t feel near as thick because of their case construction and how it differs from the thick slab sided cases of metal, like what is on watches such as the Big Eye and Tudor Black Bays.

Stating the obvious here, but WHO is asking for a 600m, 15.5mm thick vintage inspired diver? Make it 200m, shave of 3.5mm case thickness and you got a hit. Here again execution was botched, but this time not with fauxtina or weird colors (the look itself is bang on), but with a number nobody will ever use.
