I haven't yet caught up to Pt 2 but Pt 1's villains really were incredible. Fujimoto knew when to make them goofy & weird and when to make them absolutely terrifying.

Spoiler: I think overall, jujutsu kaisen had better villains due to the fact that they're more connected with the main characters. But Makima's horrifyingly precise step by step plan on breaking Denji and Pochitas contact by making him feel loved and welcomed only to take that all away is simply just beautiful

jjk has only one good villain and that's Mahito..rest villains are poorly written and Sukuna is one dimensional villain.

@@Ash-ep1nz poorly written? Jujutsu kaisen may have a hard time showing the power levels and capabilities of each of its villains, but it does one hell of a good job in not making it feel like a line of villains just queuing up to get a bum whooping

do you not read the manga? Chainsawman villains have no connections with protagnoists other than Makima. Chainsawman villains are these mysterious boogymans that have little to no value to Denji and their deaths don't impact him in a way that develops his character. Unlike Yuji vs Mahito's sentimental fight about self-worth, human imperfection and a morality. Every jjk fight serves to further yuji into his development. Whilst Denji other than Reze, gets most of his development through side characters like Aki, Himeno and Power. Their relationship serves as his guideline. Whereas Yuji is shown the grit and kill or be killed nature of cursed spirits every encounter he gets. Jjk villains develop alongside yuji. They feel like people. Chainsawman villains don't @@jd7337

Part 1 was amazing right until last two chapters of it. Asspulls and Makima’s sudden braindead behavior with even more sudden dementia strikes to her abilities made everything worst. Never before has I seen author who decided to betray himself and his work as mangaka for his fetish. Like, bro, at least Tarantino isn’t uses feet to win a main villain. But Fijimoto aren’t Tarantino. His kink and fixation on cannibalism is more important than logic, screenplay and lore.

you failed to undertstand Chainsaw Man P1..nothing was asspull about the last fight.. you just didn't understand what really happened because fujimoto didn't spoonfeed you. Those who delve deeper can easily figure out how things transpired in the fight and how beutifully it ended..the end of the fight was symbolic. It was excellent

​​@@Ash-ep1nzYeah I am pretty sure that what he means is that Makima, introduced as someone meticulous, left a loophole free to exploit like the one Denji exploited. A loophole that could get her killed in a mere car accident. On top of that, she barely used any contracts to win fights and also couldn't smell the scent difference in Pochita even though she said at the start of the manga that Denj smelt like either human or devil

@@Ash-ep1nz Power’s blood ability to slow down regeneration isn’t an asspull? Why she never used this before? Why she didn’t use it on Makima when they fighting? Why Makima even let Power go if she could use birds and rats to track her down? Denji’s “cannibalism with love isn’t an attack” isn’t an asspull? Where this come from? No foreshadowing, no setup. Just last minute Deus ex machina to safe hero’s ass. And what about all knowledge and abilities that Makima lost? Why she isn’t used birds to be aware of situation? Why she didn’t use Death Stare on Denji when he didn’t even had Pochita? Why she didn’t teleport away via rats with Pochita?

@@KongongonggExcept you’re incorrect. We DO in fact see Power in her big devil form simply have all the blood within the bodies of makima and the other government guys pierce outward through them as weapons. Denji is simply doing this to a lesser degree using her blood to do so.
