Shoulder issues have been my biggest issue on EUC too. I love the Lynx, 5500KM and counting on it. The Shinko 244 tire tubeless on the Lynx is working out very well for me. I really like your videos please keep them coming.

The issues on the Abrams did get fixed but it was too late to get the momentum that a wheel like the Lynx got by not having the ‘Batch 1’ blues.
@BunnyslippersEUC3 ай бұрын
@grb1969 yeah. The Monster Pro also had some serious cut out issues; Black Cobra, WrongWay. But the Monster Pro problem was ignored by Gotway fanboys. The Abrams fix didn't came soon enough. I love my Abrams. The Abrams is the first high torque and high speed wheel. The headlight is still a benchmark. The sound it makes is very unique. Begode releases a lot of experimental models. Hero, EX, EX20s, Begode RS Resolute. These ones would not stick.

I think we will know when adequate protective euc gear becomes available when we stop seeing the high number of euc related injuries. that is such a good point about needing better gear to be available, and gear that looks good. this is exactly what i am facing with helmets. all of the good looking helmets or helmets i like the look of, do not have a snell rating, which is absolutely required, as recommended by a close friend that has been racing motorcycles his entire life, at the highest levels of competition. we need much much safer gear than motorcycle racers use, because euc is next level, truly.

@@crisdiez8507 There is nothing that the Lynx has, that the Sherman L doesn't.(from my experience with it) I think both of them with the acceleration assist will dust the Patton of the line.

I’ve been saving to buy a Lynx, but I think I’ll go with the L now instead. I am curious about the tubeless knobby that you mentioned though, as I hope to do a fair bit of trail riding with it. The L may not be quite as nimble as the Lynx due to increased weight, but the increase in range and reported stability make up for that, IMO.
@ZenLee3 ай бұрын
Man, I think the nimbleness/agility of the this wheel may surprise you, either way you can't go wrong with a LK wheel!
@dnthmn1172 ай бұрын
If you are doing mostly off-road, the lynx will excel. If you're going mostly street, the L is a great choice. The tubeless knobby is a 244 copy, and the 244 is awesome.

We need Auto stabilization added to the firmware.
@grb19693 ай бұрын
We should have fully self-balancing EUCs within 10years. There are prototypes working on the R&D in several universities and some fully automated models have been built for self-driven robotics. PEV versions will need more time because the economics of scale will take several years to become viable as a consumer product. Mass control gyros will make EUCs mainstream enough to be safer than cars or motorcycles in almost all riding conditions and we should assume mass adoption on the global scale within 15-20 years, when the number of self-driving EUCs should be greater than the number of cars and motorcycles manufactured in any given year. Self-stabilization, traction-control and Mario-styled power jump assist are all currently possible with 30 year old technology, so implementation is just a matter of time and money. EUC companies that don’t pursue this design direction will slowly be forced out of the market by those companies that do evolve in this direction. Until then, wobbles are an inherent design problem with all EUCs that will delay mainstream adoption of the sport until stabilization becomes available. The good news is that, if properly designed, even people with neuro-degeneration disorders (like Parkinson’s Disease) will be able to ride safety with the minimum condition that they are able to stand without a cane or support. There’s no good reason why Michael J Fox couldn’t ride as EUC more easily than walking, in his current state of decline. Seriously, it’s already possible but implementation will take time due to the inefficiencies of capital markets.

Thanks for the 1st impressions. I think all these big wheels are gonna be on the sidelines once they start banning them from all public ways. It's already starting to happen. Better off going with an off road setup since we're probably gonna get forced into the woods if we want to ride.😢
@ZenLee3 ай бұрын
Haven't heard of any bans yet, in American everyone seems to ride freely still for the most part
@mikethewheelchairguy3 ай бұрын
@ZenLee It starts at the municipal level and then spreads. It's gonna be all PEVs, not just EUCs. I think too much negative attention is being drawn from certain riders and groups tearing it up in densely populated areas. I've been cherishing my time and actually find myself riding more for fear that I'm gonna lose my privileges soon. I think your adventure trip is amazing, and I'm jealous as hell. Stay safe out there and have a blast. Looking forward to Thialand coverage. That's gonna be a dangerous place to ride😱
