I just bought a model of this plane today! Too bad it was disposed of instead of preserved! That was an historic plane!

This is very neat to see. My grandfather flew in the B17 and was a TG at the young age of 18 and actually is in the last crew picture. My son came across this video.

Great video! My dad was a USAAF cadet training for fighters before he was dropped. He then trained as a radio man and gunner for bombers and the war ended. He spent over two years training and the war ended. He never left the states.

My Uncle was a Navigator of a B17 during this period at age 18 and it was the real thing! U .S. Army Air Corps. I saw the A on the tail rudder. A W was on their tail rudder.
