I am a complete novice and love the look of the Cruisers such as this or a Suzuki Marauder, Sinnis Hoodlum, Kawasaki Eliminator, Hyosung Aquila or a Honda VT125 Shadow etc. For my first bike, would it be sensible to buy second hand (as I may crash in the early days). I have a 45 minute commute, too, along A-roads, would the Superlight comfortably cruise at 60 or is one of the others better? I'm a very chubby chap and 5'8", if I was looking at these in your showroom, what would you recommend? Thanks.
@Ridingreviews4 жыл бұрын
if you are going for a keeyway superlight i would say go new because they arnt massively expensive and you get a 2 year warranty and if you new to biking you wont know how to maintain your bike with the warranty you need to keep it serviced to keep the warranty but if you are planning on a yamaha sazuki or honda for about the same price you need to be careful and make sure when you go and see it you take someone in the know most small capacity motorbikes no matter who makes them they get abused by owners

55 mph for a 125 it's stupid & downright dangerous, whoever dreamed up a law were a spotty 17 year old who has just passed their test can go on 70mph roads/motorways and be safe need's their head looking at. When i was that age 125cc bike's would do at the very least 75mph most would do 85mph without any upgrades, then if you were on 70mph roads you were able to keep up with the reast of the traffic and have a little left under the tank if you needed to get out of a tight spot.
@Ridingreviews4 жыл бұрын
Most 125cc wont quite get to 70 mph now most of the bikes when you were younger were 2 stroke and they are a lot faster but a lot more pollution and a lot more un reliable these bikes are suppost to be slow and heavy its all about the ride not getting to the destination
@baldvale54184 жыл бұрын
@@Ridingreviews Yeah i know this bike is supposed to be a plodder and there is nowt wrong with that, i just don't get the whey they have slowed all the bikes down and made all cars faster than they used to be. I had a Honda CB 125 twin and that would do 85mph two up, i had it for years without having any service and it never missed a beat.

These bikes are badly built out of cheap materials and they rarely make their first m.o.t - my brother bought one new 5000 miles later - scrap. Thing kept getting stuck in neutral the injectors continuously failing, within a month from new every bolt rusted through then snapped off when trying to replace them and this thing was kept in a dry garage and had all warranty services. For the money youd pay for one of these your better off buying a suzuki marauder second hand! Dont be fooled out there this bike is a heap of crap that will likely kill you

Not your fault, he didn't listen when I warned him. I've been riding in motorcycle clubs for years and have lost count of newbie hang arounds with these bikes falling apart on them. I'm just trying to get these newbies to think before jumping. H&R
