1:27 I'll note that these GHBs at the time used to be super hard and these focus banners were meant to gear you up for these GHBs actually! Which is a bit weird looking at it now (especially how awful some of these units are) but was genuinely clearly their intent at the time.

I'm shocked there was no mention of The fire and ice banner or the other book 2 banner some of the rare times where a new heroes banner was only two heroes and we don't have many other instances. None that I can actually think of.

9:52 actually reminded me something with Dragons in general, but Fae is still the only 3-4* Green Dragon summonable since launch, which is strange considering how much they loved to drop dragons during 2019

One note about how early banners gave no indicator of who would be demoted, they actually did have a pattern. When the trailers with new units first started dropping, the first and the last units revealed would be the 5 star exclusives and those in between would be the demotes. This pattern was steady until the first Sacred Stones banner was released when the only demote was Seth. This actually upset the few people who knew of this pattern because they thought Innes would be a demote with a decent Bow and skills.

There are an incredibly small number of banners with only two focus heroes. One that comes to mind is with Ylgr and Surtr at the end of Book 2 (or start of Book 3, can’t remember) before they made every Heroes character Mythic and sometimes Legendary.

And Surtr is the one that really set the trend of not including certain units as random enemy units in PVE, since he was kinda strong and will just burn units who blind charge him on auto battle which would really suck

The first proper Genealogy had Tailtiu, Deirdre, and Sigurd in the main banner, while Ayra was stuck in that banner's Tempest Trials event. I actually managed to get Ayra from that banner. The first banner I properly completely was the first Radiant Dawn banner, but only because I was aiming for Micaiah the moment I read who her voice was, with Sothe and Zelgius showing up too, yet for Zelgius, an error message happened, I click on 'resume', and Zelgius was suddenly there in the Red Orb I selected. In terms of special banners, it goes to the 2019 Dancing banner, I got Ishtar, Reinhardt, Nephenee, and Berkut all in the one run with Rinea joining too. I've been in Heroes since the start, and man things change when you least expect it.

Oh, forgot Ayra's inclusion. She still is the only unit to have had her own banner within another banner's debut. She colour shared with Eldigan, and that caused FEH's first big controversy. Never have we had a character be added into the game again, that had their own banner (albeit it was the Tempest Trial banner at the time). As they would usually throw the unit in as a freebie. Technically Ayra is also the only summonable Tempest Trial unit, being on that banner.

Ayra is not the only one added to FEH like this. Rhajat was added via a Voting Gauntlet banner when she could've easily been on the Children of Fate banner alongside Siegbert, Shiro, and Soleil, which was around at the same time. This time the banner's trailer gave a warning about it, though.

@@Gracereza Right, Ayra's was without warning, so thats what made the entire community unhappy. I didn't care at time. I just wanted Sigurd, whom I still use the same +HP IV I got in 2017, today. One of the oldest units in my barracks that I still use on occasion today.

Ah yes, Focus 4☆ & 5☆ Heroes. I remember wanting these rerun just to get extra copies of old merge projects. Sad they never returned. I would like to have my Thea finished. But I haven't summoned her in months now, and the time I summoned her before that, was 7 months prior. Thea draught sucks man. Waiting for any more copies, or Ephemeras.

Hi, amazing video as always. I just wanted to let you know, characters like Ross, Atlas etc where not on any banners either, usually all the characters add directly into the pull did not appear as focus characters so far. I really love seeing this type of videos, is so nostalgic. You could try one about the censorship stuff that started with Summer Tiki, then censoring the trailers even tho in game they are not censored, or the very messy and inconsistent stuff they do here in there, like the first legendary's not having legendary battles Ike, Fijorm or missing legendary's from different seasons to with an uncompleted chart etc. Or how stingy they become in time, from giving us 50 orbs for idr what to giving us 3 orbs 🤣

Fallen Edelgard is the only beast unit in the 5* summoning pool. The beast unit added before her was Yarne who is now a 4* special unit.

I'm worse than unlucky, but I'm desperate to have Legendary Corrin, and I'm hoping; I am praying that Legendary Corrin will be in a Mythic Hero Summoning Event on April 28th, and that they do not throw a FEH Pass spark on me!

Legendary Corrin will be back in May. You can see when legendary and mythic heroes return by going into notifications, clicking "More >" on the current legendary/mythic banner, and then clicking on "Notes on This Summoning Event." Sometimes heroes are rescheduled, so make sure to check this on every legendary/mythic banner even if you're not interested in the heroes on the current banner.

I remember when Linde didn't get a focus for a very long time and a few people were memeing about her being missing. Meanwhile I got her off focus three times.

Sometimes you get lucky - took me 15 orbs to get legendary Robin and i didn't intend to spend more than that. Sometimes you get unlucky - took me 300 to get legendary Yuri only to get 2 of them from one session. Sometimes you go broke with your orbs and still don't get Gotoh no matter how many times you try... Though my biggest complaint with banners is how borderline unobtainable seasonal units are, it especially sucks if any given character's only version is seasonal one like Saul or Zihark.

I remembered my incident of BHB of Lilina and Roy, that I summoned on the banner and I get a Lilina with my first summon... But it was a 4☆ Lilina, in a banner where she was the main focus And even I tried to say that it was fine in my mind I was like "How?"

I have a question in regards of summoning (btw I only started playing Heroes November 2021, so pls excuse my missing knowledge I’m not a pro). Sanaki is my favourite character and that’s y I actually bought my resplendent sanaki back in November 2021. She has 25 Dragonflowers, arcane tome, special spiral….I gave her everything I could because I love her, but she is still +0 because I’ve never summoned her and I’ve never seen her on a banner. Yeah basically my question is: is it possible that you can’t summon some really old units anymore cause there are way to many nowadays? Were some units cut out of the pool? Or am I just unlucky?

There's two consistent ways to get Sanaki. She appears on weekly revival 18 as a focus along side Neph and Amelia but you may also get her at random from the 4 star special rate on any non mythic/legendary banner (Name is misleading since it's actually used for outdated 5 stars.) She may also be randomly placed in a banner if she fits the theme (e.g. voting gauntlet or tempest trial) so look out for those. She's always been a difficult unit to get for me too. Been playing since day one. Gotten her maybe three times ever. (I am f2p though.) Foddered all but one of them which I kind of regret. (Hone attack 3 and TA use to be worth using, trust me).
