PRF weapons have so much text and effects and then there is Dire Thunder from Olwen and Reinhardt (9 atk, -5spd, unit attacks twice when initiating) which is apperently so overpowered that you still cant refine it

Personally my biggest issue is the lack of coherence with the personal skill and the unit it belongs too, take b!felix for example, never in 3h did he have the hability to galeforce, in fact no unit aside Edelgard had that hability, the same can apply to e!sigurd like he couldn’t galeforce in engage? Like?? Not to my knowledge, I feel like there’s a disconnect between the skill and the unit, I feel in that way B!bernie and M!gullvieg are far more interesting, because Bernie has the vengeance skill in three houses which can kinda translate to (if u debuff me! So will I!!) that’s very Bernie like, the same goes for paranoia, and gulviegs galeforce makes sense because she is all about time manipulation… the tldr is that IS is just mismatching and making things for no reason

my biggest issues with feh: 1. it feels unrewarding to +10 a unit. the bonus stats dont really mean much anymore with base stats being so much higher than they were when the game originally launched. 2. bonus stats being attached to resplendent skins... why should i have to pay for stats that dont mean much anyways? 3. how limited florets and aided units are... there should be a way to grind for them like dragonflowers imo or just some way to get more or make them unequippable. if i give a unit a floret but in a year i dont use that unit anymore, it feels wasted... feels bad for players. 4. how we can only equip a sacred seal and emblem ring to one unit per team... what if i have multiple units on a team that want a specific emblem ring or sacred seal? this just feels bad... 5. i dont like ally support and summoner support... having to constantly change which allies are supporting and which one i summoner support is just tedious... 6. old units with prf weapons/skills feel outclassed, but it feels bad replacing what makes them unique. book 1/2 units should be able to fuse their prf weapons/skills with inheritables. they still wont be able to compete with new units but at least it will make them feel usable and give us new theorycrafting for our fav old units. 7. refines are way too slow. need to double the amount of refines we get a month at least. 8. dragonflowers become way too expensive when its already pointless investing in old units since theyre outclassed by new releases anyways.

I originally played this game for a few months back at launch and only really got back into it a few months ago. I realize a lot is inevitably going to change in 7 or 8 years, but so much of this game just feels completely unapproachable now. Even watching this video talking about how the power creep has gotten out of control, the amount of language and terminology for different buffs and effects is so dense it's hard to even know where one sentence starts and ends lol I've only been getting by on lucky pulls and having a general sense of what unit is cracked in some way or another. Eikthynir, Halloween Askr, wedding Sharena, and Silent Bloodline Corrin carry me through pmuch everything I really need to get through without me really understanding how or why. All the units I really liked and still have from 2017 are unusable because their weapon descriptions aren't three paragraphs long.

My feeling about the game right now is that IS only seem to care about milking money from their players now. In the past they gave us more impression they were caring more about their playerbase experience. But now it just a game where only the recent unit can do something in very high competitive. Fjorm and Shield Fighter make 95% of the ranged nuke non-usable (and she everywhere so...) Sigurd and Felix make tanking a hell and most of the time force savior (wich is the most boring playstyle in the universe) and even savior are not safe from those 2 Heidrun and Att Micaiah are nightmare to face because they give way too much support Ice vein is super unfair as well Celica and her emblem effect also add more chaos and frustration... Something that proove how they don't care anymore is the fact they released a 5 move cav that kill 90% of the cast when 3 year ago they had to release an AR building because they noticed their mistake. And now they just repeated the mistake. XD Well, this game competitive is completly terrible rn...

I’d argue that the only reason Re-armed units are worse than Attuned units is just because they always low-ball the arcane weapon, if an arcane was cracked there wouldn’t be that significant of a difference between attuned and rearmed.

there was once upon a time where the powercreep kinda, balanced itself out. I remember when 40% spd based damage reduction and ideal skills were the meta, it was fairly balanced as many older units were still usable with the newer skills. Now if you're even over 6 months old you're useless in high tier content. They've been focusing on prf specials a TON too. I think attuned and rearmed units are the best things the game has released during this powercreep, only because you basically get free skill fodder along with an extremely powerful unit. I also think that older units NEED remixes with new weapons refines and a prf skill. and i know its probably not gonna happen, but with resplendant units a thing they might as well take some extra care with them. Every resplendent should get a remix thats available to everyone and not just the paying players. Let me use this obscure 5 star unit you just gave a new skin that i paid for, without having to whale on a weekly reset banner.

They could learn something from puzzles and dragons, what they do very well is instead of releasing new over powered units all the time is to upgrade all the old ones along with the new ones that come in. Like there's no reason my base sigurd should be laying the smack down on a plus 10 Hector.

I genuinely wonder how many of us are still playing the game out of inertia and guilt of throwing all the time and investment away, and how many are truly, actually having fun with it. Lately I dont even bother reading the skills of the new units and directly wait for PM1 tldr version. Only mode in the game that gives me some thrill is AR, but lately defenses are super polarized. Its either ridiculously easy ones with Askr trio at lvl 1 or some omega whales with infantry pasta crap, so Im not even feeling the need to bother in there. SD is only for when you are low on salt.

Sunk cost fallacy is real and i think every feh players except maybe whales has it. Do people even have fun with this game anymore? Arena is toxic, aether raids is bullshit, summoner duels is super cancer, feh pass is expensive, the meta is way too crazy and most new units are already perfectly pre-built. The only real fun i have is building freebies and using them... But only a small percent of them is characters i care about and an even smaller percent is even potentially able to deal with today's bullshit... And if i'm doing say a boss battle i find myself just using E!Ike + supports to get the rewards asap. At this point i log in by reflex.

I only cared about building the units I liked, but inheritance got too expensive for so little return as prf skills are so busted. Never really played for top rank but even then the power creep felt awful

The powercreep has effectively destroyed any interest in me to compete in the meta. I don’t worry about arena, AR and most certainly not SD. I just collect the characters and use whatever fodder I have available to make fun or meme builds of my favorites even if suboptimal.

This was a great video that I watched right after three straight losses against Emblem Ike with Celica ring in Aether Raids. There really is no satisfaction with playing pvp modes like Aether Raids or Summoner Duels, I will fully admit that. Doesn’t matter how much time and love you can invest into your favorite unit who only has a base form and hasn’t had an alt since the game released seven years ago (IS COME ON GIVE SILAS AN ALT DAMMIT, NO MORE KAGERO AND CAMILLA WHERE IS MY BOY?!?!), when you can just slap shiny new unit unmerged and unbuilt with their base kit and they’ll fucking decimate everything thrown at them because their prf weapon and skills account for EVERYTHING, so why even bother? Inb4 someone tells me “Just get X newest unit-“ No, that’s the whole point, I don’t WANT to waste money on the newest power creep unit of a character I don’t even like, I want to use MY favorites with good fodder that I’ve struck lucky on to grind those asshole characters into the dirt. Emblem Ike really was the ground zero of horseshit.

Reminds me of that day in the life of the hero’s FEH comic where even the artist poked fun at how ridiculous the text for prf weapons is.😂 I literally haven’t played Aether raids properly in two weeks, arena and arena assult I just do the first 5 times(3 for assault) to get the items I need then I just stop and SD was never an interest on day one. I genuinely don’t care about any of the modes anymore, they even butchered forging bonds the story’s used to be fun and wacky now all the story consists of is just slay the bandits.😐 The only reason I’m even playing is because of the art my favourites and Seers Snare which should really be on more often.

Honest feel the game would alot tolerable if the game just gave stronger imheritable skills that allow trash units be alot more useable instead of feeling if there not premium there not worth the fodder especialy when they release banners that are sub locked. Also adding powerful compiles so that foddering the recent new units would be fair for f2p. Arcanes are great in theory but they seem to refuse to let them be as strong as premiums of never release f2p inheritable weapons that even the playing field. I enjoy using basilio alot but i feel everyone who uses demotes are at a bad disadvantage sense the power creep is always getting worse and theres nothing imherirable right now that makes playing with your favorites tolerable
