Melee grasp is pretty strong if u can time ur trades well. It's good in high elo where a single trade can change the whole wave and control the next 10 minutes of your lane. Zeus for sure knows his trading along with access to demolish and biscuits.

by the time jax activate conqueror the renekton already dumped his whole load and dashed away

grasp is the strongest rune in lane in general, which gives both damage and sustain, with really good minor runes in the tree for laning as well. PTA has no healing, and conq is just too long to stack, while the tree is not best for lane. Also, jax is not the best all in champ. His trade relies on his e and q, both have a long cd. He'll mostly short trades in lane, so grasp is perfect
