@ 49:13 Just to clarify I was not under the illusion that I was safe. Nor was I the sniper but the second guy you killed. The player I was with is as new to ARMA MP as I am. We had been very cautious getting up to that point and I had my binoculars out and had literally just started sayin "Enemy contact bunker @ 030 Range 6-----BAM shot in the face. So just wanted to say we were not just sitting back there thinking we where safe. We were trying to find a way up there without getting our asses shot off. Which didn't work anyway. Cheers

+TheNeuel haha sorry neuel :D you will see though that a lot of players try to keep a distance beyond where they know AI would usually engage. Whilst this is the obvious thing to do its not always very interesting because then it just becomes a target practice exercise. So I will periodically lay down some fire just to keep the mission on a more steady footing. Otherwise every mission is a steamroll which is frankly pretty boring for people to watch

this mission reminded me of a 1 man rescue mission I did, I had to rescue a pilot from. CSAT by myself, and the Zeus decided that it would be a good idea to put two light machine gunners in a single tower.

heh i wondered what killed me when i was on the mg on the top base, was a good hard mission tho, the addition of the other missions next was a extra hassle. we lost our vech to the main missions kaiman on the way up too

imagine a ww2 version of this with no side chat, only communication with people in your immediate vicinity. info would become much more valuable, and squads taking bases would give that team a permanent, more valuable, name. you would have to play your roles well too, snipers taking out couriers and radiomen to stop support being called in... awesome.

the pilot at 33:00 should have been flying NOE and he would not have lost his blades. And flying over a hill into the ao is nothing more than inviting AA to wreck him.

Hey Luetin I love these videos! Seems like you can improve a little more though, You should put the Armor on patrols up and down the road and that would give the AI a better chance of engaging the enemy. Around the end, CSAT units were clumped up at the forward camp and you could have moved them up the hill to retake the hill. I would like more CSAT Air but that is just because I love close air support!

Just a clarification, the AI will launch motors if they have direct line of sight. It's super accurate, but could make more interesting static set ups if you wanted to continue to exploit that mechanic.

Had a lot of fun on this mission even though you killed us a lot. Are you okay with Tanks if we only use them as support on hardened positions and enemy armor? How about the two previous missions are you gonna upload them too?

+GenericNord yes exactly, tanks are support for the infantry we have to remember this is a gameplay experience and if someone rolls a tank in point blank to enemy or a jeep driving around roadkilling enemy it not only breaks the whole immersion of the experience it also just ruins opportunities for good gameplay for others.

Luetin just an idea you almost always say in every video that you wish you could be in more places at once i have a solution get some one you trust to be a ZEUS moderator and ask the server to set the settings so moderators can't spawn objects but can edit them. ask your moderator to do things like troop movement and extra and ask them to record the footage (i recommend using the same recording software as you as it makes editing easier) edit the footage to get one constant footage and add your voice over. you would have to do this off stream but it would allow you to do more adventurous missions like your previous stop the officers escaping one but with more camera angles.(ill let you think of more choices) i recommend just giving it a try upload the footage see how it is received if it works it works if it dosent and people want streams instead go back to streams. p.s love the videos watch the stream every time and watch the KZbin upload as well keep up to good work p.s.s if you cant find someone to help moderate from social groups see if fuse or some one from the server will help

+Luetin09 understandable i know it would require lots of editing your look at about around hours work per 15 mins of final video if you don't have time for the editing it still might be useful to have some one to help during the streams to help have troops react to the solders and extra and monitor fights while you watch other battles and general help out even if you don't record and edit any footage (when i play zues and do hostage rescue missions and extra i always have a moderator to help as when the players get close to the base i get them to react by try to escort the officer of hvt out by car/ helli and due to bad AI you dont want your target running so i always have my moderator take control of the HVT this allows you to come up with some very creative missions for example escort missions are very fun to zeus if you have a moderator controlling the HVT.

Hey Luetin, new sub here. Just wondering why you always have the AI defending, and players attacking. I know it is fun for the players, but what if the enemy tried to push inland with a huge layered force, and the players had to defend a village or base? I think it would be really interesting for everyone. Thanks! Also, love your vids!
