Would love it to be subbed in english. I own a 2017 BRZ and looking to get new bushings to make the chassis stiffer. Would love to understand fully what they are saying. More mod ideas!
From USA, their is a language barrier but from his the parts and his hand movement. I totally understand everything. Where can I buy some Revolution parts for my GT86?

As I recall from a other video, they mentioned something about installing solid bushings. Guessing this is showing some of that, at least in part.
Is this the 100,000km 86? Can’t believe it only sold for 860,000 yen, that shit would be over 2m yen here in the states still lmao

Apparently it had some accident damage or was an insurance write off also. But yeah when I looked up how much that was in my currency I was like what the heck like 4 grand. Saying that 100,000km isn't that much anyway it's like 60,000 miles or thereabouts which for an early model 86 doesn't seem that bad really.

I had to pay around 12.6 k plus tax and title for a 16 FRS base with 130k miles lmao
Yeah the ft86 needs allot of help to make it a good handling, fun, sports coupe... It would have been better with a i4 and a 2gr performance option for the states the Subaru boxer is anemic. In the states side we have long expansive roads where you sit at 80mph (130kph) for hours as well... Just not as good as having a larger displacement engine more or less idling. Boxers tend to lead to oiling problems as a result. Example, the nearest track for me is 4 hours away from me...

Exactly, you sit at 80 mph, which is a joke, and don't need more than like 70hp for it. It's funny how americans always act like they need more power, but drive slower than almost anyone in the world. In Europe cars with 140-150hp comfortably cruise at 200 km/h and doesn't feel underpowered, but you feel like you need more than 200hp in a light car to do 80 mph?

I wanted the Hakone edition..i read about too many complaints regarding the gt86, so I got the new Miata instead. I definitely miss the cargo and cabin space, but at least I got everything else - a road handling car out of the box. I really wanted the Hakone edition too. The green and bronze is just beautiful

@@derbigpr500 well yes and no i think you missed the point of my post. Small displacement engines have lower gearing due to their dismal torque output. When they are cruising at 80 they are at 3500 rpm... They chew through gas, larger displacement engines are made to idle at those speeds. That's why a v8 gets the same MPG as a smaller displacement 2.0L. The only exception is trucks made for towing that are geared lower for torque or drag cars. A 2.0L is at 3500rpm at highway cruising speeds when a larger V8 is at 1200rpm or slower. Its just the difference in torque output at given engine RPMs. A good happy medium would be a 3.0-3.5L v6 or something along those lines. That's why toyota equiped allot of its USDM autos with the 2gr. It's really a difference in markets, the ft86 was made for urbanites, not.75% of the states that is open road. Allot of people are abandoning cities right now for the suburbs and the midwest...
