Begging you to make an album of these. I struggle listening to microtonal composers because if I'm being honest, frequently it feels forced and academic. To me, this feels completely fluid. Really revelatory as to how this stuff FEELS (chord).

Her voice is so beautiful I had to close my eyes to fully focus on enjoying it. This is truly amazing. It gives me chills and makes me feel warm and fuzzy, and it somehow does both at the same time. Literally amazing. I know I've used that word twice now, but this song deserved it.

Microtonal music is evolving... Your style and flow is very strong! I'm also working on my own style. I think that this is a whole new world for musicians to explore. The seeds were sown in the previous century. Now they can grow and eventually flower!

So warm yet so dark, it's like walking in a savanna just before sunset. The thing that's super interesting about this is that I feel like it wouldn't sound too strange to someone who isn't used to non-12TET pieces.
@Proghead884 жыл бұрын
How are you real? I feel like I've been missing this my whole life. I think you know very well what you are doing here... wow. So natural too. I know it probably took a lot of painstaking work in many stages, but it really has a continuity, flow, development, and raw energy (both dark and light) that's really hard to pin point. I'm definitely talking about way more than the tuning! That part is also amazing! Beautiful music. Honest. Thanks for sharing this with the world! You should collaborate with Jacob Collier, I'm sure great things would happen. You definitely don't need anyone's validation though.

Astonishing, polished (in all the ways xenharmonics too often can't or won't be), visionary. What I absolutely love about this listening experience is the ways it hides in an impression of non-xenharmonic though still lovely pitch imprecision that's at home in the indie genre, with sudden eruptions into fully-xenarmonic expectation-breaking and math-made-visceral. It's a reminder of one of the most powerful tools in making xenh music great: dosage control!

7 days? Who are you, Jacob Collier? Okay I can't let this be my only comment. This is by far my favourite piece of yours, and quite possibly my favourite microtonal work. It goes beyond organic. It sounds... normal. Not normal like it's like everything else, but as if 31-tet is your norm rather than a novel space apart from the "norm" of 12-tet. It sounds like this is your native language, if that makes sense. I come back to this often, to remind me of the transcendent level of organic-ness possible in microtonality.
